Barter, desperate to secure his status in the city, started to rack his brain concerning the recent development. ''The only way to get your boss very upset about this, is to put it to him that Laura's disappearance has something to do with Greg stepping up the ladder!'' Barter's friend, Leroy, advised him. Barter frowned. ''Wait. Why have I never thought of this?'' He asked, rhetorically. Leroy smiled. ''I was wondering the same myself. What have you been thinking then, if this has never crossed your mind,'' Leroy asked. Barter shrugged and shook his head. ''It's Mr. Ban that made me forget about my thinking cap. He told me to forget about the issue, and that he has it under his control.Two months have passed, and he is still having it under his control via mere speaking. That new son-of-a-bitch has been making crazy sales. Sales that ought to belong to Mr. Ban, are now flourishing under another name. A damn rookie for that matter. The lady at the front desk was a rude person, and Laura perceived it from afar. As a matter of fact, she could remember the lady from the first and only other time she was at the Bueno's hotel. She was stocking up on her disguising products and had not the slightest awareness that she had been spotted, and was about to be apprehended.
