Greg Chase was stunned at the way Laura disappeared from his house.

He tried calling her several times but of course, she didn't pick up, and soon after, she switched off her phone.

A sworn enemy had shot at him.

Even though he didn't see the enemy closely, he could tell that it was either Barter or Charles Ban because those were the only sworn enemies that had met him.

There were definitely no others, as the normal practice of sworn enemies was to locate the watcher and troll him into feeling inferior.
