Heavy Thoughts
The city was quiet.

Marcus, having stayed in hiding for as long as he could, was out loose again searching for Don Black.

Well, he knew where to find Don Black but what he didn't want was to apprehend the man right there in his house.

Of course, Marcus couldn't.

If only he could spot Don Black in a neutral place, Marcus would not mind having the police take him down as long as he dealt with Don Black first.

Leaving his hide out, he returned to the apartment that Don Black had given him before he died.

It was a cozy studio apartment that fit Marcus to the max.

Marcus slid into his apartment after a long time and landed heavily on the bed.

He took out his gun from the back of his pocket and kept it on the table in the middle of his bed room.

"Fuck!" Marcus muttered as he lay down.

Knackered from the day's activities.

Marcus had installed surveillance cameras in front of Don Black's home as that was the way he thought best to get at Don Black without a crossfire.
