Barter cleaned Laura's wounds and gave her first aid treatment.

He didn't take her into the inner room anymore but took her to a decent room that had a bed in it.

She definitely needed some rest after receiving heavy beatings from Barter.

Laura had to recuperate.

Actually, she had not quite really snapped out of the daze, as she was semi-passed out.

While Barter cleaned her up and treated her, she barely kept her eyes open, and Barter had to go as far as smacking her away when he wanted her attention.

It was pretty tedious for both of them, but Barter succeeded, and now he had taken Laura into that other room and locked her inside.

''If you need anything, there's a bell by your bedside, just ring it,'' Barter said.

''And if I were you, I will try to ring it only when I need something done because if you abuse it, it will be removed, and then you will suffer negligence when you actually need it,'' Barter warned and left Laura in the room.

This room was Laura's final bus stop.
