Greg Chase had already informed his crew that something was fishy.

''I tell you, I know that young lady, and if she was really hurt in the last two weeks, I would have known, but no! Trust me, she even forgot that her uncles were supposed to be dead,'' Greg Chase said, trying to convince his crew that Mr. Ban was alive. Charles Ban too.

''Yes, but Greg, at times like this, you would have to be a hundred percent sure. Such an assumption is too far-fetched, what if you are wrong? What of it the girl has indeed risen above the heartache?'' Don Black was the one asking.

Greg Chase scoffed.

He had those sorts of strong inclinations that in fact, Lucy Ban was hiding something.

''Look, you know what? Instead of the back and forth, and constant bickering, let us send someone out there to get in touch with her. We can hire them! Someone would fall in love with her and get us all the information we need. Is that not viable?'' Greg Chase asked.

When Lucy Ban's eyes fell on Austin Black, she couldn't take them off from him. Even though she had not nursed any feelings of love and attachment, she could not take her eyes off a perfectly built man. Austin Black entered the office of Lucy Ban with a poker face. He was obviously on a mission and did not intend to screw it up. ''Hello there,'' he said to Lucy, stretching his arm forward for a handshake. Lucy was taken aback by his charm and domineering aura. But she didn't forget that she was the boss, so she didn't accept his handshake, instead, she stared at his outstretched arm. ''Can I help you?'' Lucy Ban asked. ''Yes you can, ma'am,'' Austin Black replied, withdrawing his arm and smiling at Lucy to show that she had embarrassed her. ''I am out looking for a job,'' Austin Black replied. His masculinity dominated the entire room, and slowly Lucy was getting engulfed in it. ''You can apply for a job on the company's website, and we will get in touch with you if you

The following day, as scheduled, Austin Black appeared at Lucy Ban's company. Lucy's anticipation was nearly obvious that day. She had taken a bit more time in preparing herself for work. She wore better-fitted clothes and took her time to do her makeup. "Lucy!" Margaret Ban had called her with urgency when she saw how dazzling her daughter was that morning. Lucy turned to look at her mother, trying as much as she could to feign ignorance of the reason her mother had called her. "Is there anything special happening at the office today?" Margaret Ban had asked. Lucy shook her head. ''No, why?" she replied. "Why are you dressed up? I've never seen you put in this much attention to detail before. Anything special? Have a date later?" Margaret Ban dared to ask. "Mom!" Lucy Ban yelped and rolled her eyes. "What?" Margaret Ban asked. "It's just for work. I decided to look better, period," Lucy Ban said abruptly and left the house while her mother stared at her back in shock. "Jus

''I got the job,'' Austin Black told Don Black as soon as he got home. Father and son laughed heartily. It sounded weird to hear Austin Black say he got the job. What job? In Lucy Ban's company? Of course, he was above it, but they had a deal. ''So, when do you start working there?'' Don Black asked. ''Err...first of all, dad, she gave me a better position than was available in the company for, not like it's still worth it, but...'' Austin Black told his father. ''Are you serious? What position was that?'' Don Black asked. ''General Manager,'' Austin Black replied. Don Black's eyes widened. ''That's a huge one, even though it still cannot be compared to what you really are, but it is a huge one, regardless,'' Don Black said. Austin Black nodded. ''I know dad, I know,'' he replied. ''Does that mean that...'' Don Black started to say, winking at his son knowingly. ''Mean that what?'' Austin Black replied. ''Maybe she likes you,'' Don Black said again. Austin Black laughed

  • Greg's Dreaded Return   A Tour

Austin Black looked like a god that had stepped out of the milky way when he arrived at Lucy Ban's company the following day. The air was still and silent, as if the god, Zeus had just stepped in. Nobody made a sound, and they only greeted Austin Black with a slight nod of the head and a faint smile. The position that Austin Black had been employed in was the direct next in the hierarchy after Lucy Ban, so he was their boss. And none of the old staff members disregarded this at all because looking at Austin Black, they couldn't imagine any different position for him. Only one person dared to talk to Austin Black when he arrived, and that was the front desk staff member, she had to show Austin Black to his office."Mr. Black," the advanced-aged lady said with a smile and greeted him, showing him into the office complex. They entered an elevator headed to the fourth floor.Austin Black's face twitched when he realized that he was headed to the same floor as Lucy Ban's office. She

I'm beginning to think that way," Mr. Ban replied."First of all, you left the city that I hid you at, and returned here because you were what, bored? How about you choose between death and boredom?" Mr. Ban asked. Charles Ban flashed his brother a pretty clear look. "I bet there are a lot of changes out there? We can't stay here and risk being cut off from the helm of affairs in the city, I'm going to go out to see for myself. I will disguise myself," Charles Ban insisted. "You will do no such thing," Mr. Ban replied abruptly, staring into Charles Ban's eyes defiantly."The only condition with which I would allow you to leave is if you are headed for the airport to leave this city. That's all," Mr. Ban addressed Charles Ban pretty dismissively. At this point, Charles Ban was angry, scared

Even though Mr. Ban had several ways to put Charles Ban in check, he was still careful and skeptical, hoping that Charles would not lose his patience one of these days and venture into the open chasing a woman. He knew Charles Ban too well. Mr. Ban was already worried about Charles Ban even before he came to state that he was extraordinarily having blue balls. "What to do now?" Mr. Ban wondered. Importing a female from within the city was as dangerous as letting Charles Ban out by himself. And he knew that he needed to relieve Charles of this pressure he was faced with or else Charles Ban would do something to Laura. Eh?At the thought of it, Mr. Ban called for Barter quickly. He had to move fast, he had to move now. He knew so many friends of his that ran syndicates abroad, and he knew they would come in handy at this point. A foreign female for Charles Ban would definitely cure him of his stressful loins. "Barter!" Mr. Ban called urgently. Barter skipped Mr. Ban's study.

Greg Chase was beside himself, wondering why Laura had suddenly cut off from him.Yes, she might have been spotted in his house, but from the way he felt, he knew that word had not gotten to Mr. Ban about the fact that she was in his house, so why was she suddenly unavailable? Why was she no longer interested in their plan to overthrow Mr. Ban completely this time?He had his hopes on her, especially now that Don Black had looked in another direction, having found another ''young blood'' to show the ropes of the business and get acquainted with. No matter how many times Greg Chase called Laura Ban, it either did not go through, or she abruptly hung the call up on him.''Urgh, what the fuck is going on?'' Greg Chase asked himself. Barter looked at Shadow closely. If he told Barter what he knew, everything could take another turn for the worst, but he also wanted Laura Ban to face the repercussion of the trouble that she had doled out on others. By this time, they had arrived at the home of Mr. Ban.Mr. Ban hurried out of the car as if, if he stayed there for one more second, something will happen to him. ''Boss!'' Barter greeted him as soon as he sighted him. He had been waiting rather impatiently for Mr. Ban to return and give him a rundown of what happened at Laura Ban's house. Barter would have been the one to follow Mr. Ban to Laura Ban's family house, but his hideous face did not allow him. ''How did it go, boss?'' Barter asked. Mr. Ban glanced at Barter and rolled his eyes. Barter knew at once that Mr. Ban must have been ridiculed and insulted. The look on the man's face was so intensely upset. But of course, at the moment, Laura was bothered about something else, so she paid Barter no mind. She hurried towards Mr
