Marcus was attending to an errand for Jin one day when he was cornered by someone wearing a mask.

From the sound of the person's voice, he could swear that it was Axe, but as the saying goes, ''no face, no case,'' so Marcus could not hold it against Axe later on.

That night, Marcus had attended a meeting on behalf of Jin who had traveled out of the country for a family commitment.

Marcus was asked to handle every single business in the city, as far as Jin Shen was not around.

It pained Axe to his marrow that instead of him, Jin Shen had chosen Marcus.

And to think that Jin Shen was not even supposedly remorseful for the fact that he demoted Axe, pained Axe the most.
