.Grey POV

I could not realize a single muscle in me when I came back to my senses . However amidst all this , I was feeling so cold . The coldness to some extent even started to increase .

I wanted to remain lying down on the ground where ever I was just hoping that all that was in my head could only turn into some good Cinderella story so that the night mares could all be behind me .

“What the hell are you doing there ?” I heard a voice from a distance that brought back to my senses and I realized that I had not yet opened my eyes and so I found myself opening my eyes.

“damn it ! what place is this .” I asked myself as I tried to stand up . I was lying in a gigantic building that with its appearance must have been an abandoned warehouse .

“How had I reached here ?’’ I asked myself panicking since two men in security uniform were already approaching me . I panicked but was too weak to get up . It was as though my body had been smashed and crashed inside me .

I could recall vividly how my wife had found me in the shower before calling his gangster brothers to beat me up so badly until when I blacked out .

Now walking up in an abandoned ware house with officers approaching me was something I could not come to understand even when I tried to .

“Young man , the question is what are you doing here . Don’t you know that this place is out of bounds to any one .”

“Officer …the thing is …I mean.” I tried to speak well but it could only come out as a stammer . The two fierce officers were now standing next to me . I was so perplexed . The two had guns in their hands aimed at me .

“God , what is this ?’’ I asked them in a panic mood.

“Look what the hell is this ?’’ one of them asked as he bent down and picked something that I afterwards realized that it was a gun .

“What do you mean?” I asked not even making how a gun had ended up here .

“We should be the one asking you . We have just found a gun and there is blood all over you.”

“What do you mean?’’ asked myself as I stared all over me and indeed my hands were soaked in blood . No no , what was the meaning of this .

“No no , I don’t know anything about the blood that is all over me . Plus officers I don’t even know how I reached here because I did not bring myself here .”

“Hahaha, so you think that the two is us are insane ?” one said sarcastically .

“So what do you have to say about that ?’’ The other officer said pointing at something below me . I picked it . It was a powder substance that was wrapped in a piece of paper .

“I have no idea what it is .’’ I spoke in a matter of fact tone as I handed it to the two mean . They examined it and as I looked at them keenly . Out of the blue , there faces turned pale and then reddish . I swear I did not know what was going through their minds but I could say that whatever she was thinking about was not anything good at all .

“You are even in possession of cocaine . What more have you done in this abandoned place .”

“You are under arrest for possessing a gun illegally plus the possession of illegal drugs .”

“You are supposed to keep quiet because whatever you say will be used against you in the courts of law.”

I was puzzled, If I had been going through a lot before , then that was nothing . This was so much . It was far worse than what I had actually thought of before . I was dumb struck . I knew that arguing with the two officers was useless . The only thing that I was supposed to do was to just allow to be taken and may be they could come to realize that what they were thinking was completely wrong in one way or another .

They roughly hand cuffed me and led me out of the ware house to the already waiting police car that was there . But how much more was my life going to shutter ? Just when I thought that so much had happened to me then something more terrible happens and that is how life is moving on right now .

“Yes officer , we are bringing the suspect in a few minutes .” My heart pumped even more when I heard them say that. Reality was now hitting me more . My life was going to get much more complicated than before .

“Young man , just admit the crime that you did so that you save both our time and yours as well.” The officer persisted but I was still giving him the same answer because that was what was right .

“Officer , I have been clear to you I don’t have any idea about who I reached there.”

“DAMN IT!” he thundered hitting the table so hard that I almost jumped from the seat .

“I have told you already that I don’t know anything .”

“Okay , I think you need to be lashed seriously and then that way you are going to know how to speak .”

Two officers came and led me towards into a dark room . I was trembling just thinking about the fact that the two were leading me to my death bed .

“Stop it !”A familiar voice behind us made the three of us stand at once . I did not know if to be happy or even more worried hearing out that voice . I just hoped that it turned out well .
