I did not say anything to her but just took the ringing of my phone as an excuse to get away from her . She was managing to get my crazy even without me realizing it. So much was getting into me .

I stepped out of the hospital building and quickly put the phone on my ear . It was a number that was unknown but I suspected who had called.

“Yes.” I said the moment I stepped outside the building .

“Have you finished reading the paper?” there was no way I could forget the voice of that mysterious lady. This increased my curiosity and recalled that I still had the piece of paper in my pocket.

“No…I meannnn…. yes.” I said stammering .

“You are not serious . We labored a lot but you are rather taking us for granted.” She switched off the light. I got puzzled even more. I could not think about any reason that could make them pressure me this way .

Perhaps there was something that I was missing . it was actually becoming more like a puzzle that was very difficult to solve . What
