The next morning.

Leah woke up and couldn’t find the map. So she got anxious and looked around, only to find out that Gary was reading the map right now.

“When their language is translated to our language,” Gary said, “the word height is being spelled as hieght.”

“Yeah.”

“That’s strange.”

“No. Don’t you remember the rule?” Gary told her. “When two vowels are next to each other, the sound of the first vowel should be pronounced, and not the second one. So, for the word height, one should pronounce ‘E’ and omit the sound of ‘O.’ However,
