CHAPTER 116

A few hours earlier.

Back in Demon Range.

Gary finished collecting more than 300 monster cores of demonoids, most of whom were leveled above 300. He didn’t let anyone he saw escape. He killed them without mercy, and in that process, he freed nearly forty humans they held captive deep in the dungeon. All of them were cultivators. So, they thanked Gary and then escaped the Demon Range on their own. Some of them who had their arms and legs severed and eaten took help from other cultivators.

Not every cultivator was willing to help the injured. Some were selfish and so quickly left on their own, but some chose to help. Gary gave these people some of the demonoid cores to reward their deeds. They gladly accepted the crystal cores and sincerely thanked him.

One of the cultivators, however, came up to Gary. This was an old man with a long beard. Even his eyebrows were very long. His level was 469.

“If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t have believed it,” the old man said. “A young
