Leah, Sesi, and Rowan began fighting the general spider once again. Sesi caught one of the general spider’s legs as he attacked her. She was able to move her hair like a whip and then threw the spider up into the air. Her hair then formed into that of a cannon’s mouth. “Flame Cannon!”Like a flame thrower, flames flew forth out of her hair-cannon, and it burst a hole through the spider general’s body.“Vortex Drill!” Leah attacked from the side and pierced through the shoulder of the spider general.Rowan also slid under the general’s body through the gap between the legs and then launched his attacks. “Explosive Fists!” His attacks were much messier compared to the girls, and so blood poured out from the spider general.Despite getting covered in blood, Rowan kept on at it, and eventually, the spider general lost his life and collapsed at an angle.The three of them, while huffing and puffing, looked at Gary as if asking for his response on how they did.“It’s not over yet,” Gary snapped his fingers, and all the spiders that were lying in wait jumped

For the next three days, Gary focused on his friends and made sure they leveled up. He also leveled up just from cultivating.Leah, Sesi, and Rowan were now able to use aura, and so their attacks grew much more potent and powerful.Sesi’s flames were able to easily burn some spiders to death. She didn’t kill them on purpose. It happened accidentally.Gary told her to control her strength and go easy on the spiders, as these spiders were literally their army.Sesi’s level was now 106.Leah and Rowan were both at level 104.In the beginning, they struggled to fight the spider general together, but now, they were able to stand their ground against the spider general even when they fought him alone. Their growth in three days was not truly reflected in their levels!Fighting the spider general and also many other spiders helped them rapidly earn experience of fighting not just single foe but also multiple foes.Unlike them, Gary didn’t fight at all. Gary and others were riding different spiders while sitting on mattresses that were attached to their backs. These spiders were not humanoid spiders but beast-like ones.“Our neighboring territory is where the jackals live,” the spider general was telling everyone. “Their levels average around hundred, but they hunt in packs, so they are quite annoying. Most of all, their leader Blackback is leveled close to 200. He’s a very arrogant guy who doesn’t listen to anybody. He’s even rebellious and doesn’t offer any sacrifice to God Yves.”“Then why doesn’t Yves do anything?” Sesi asked. “Why keep a rebellious subordinate unpunished? Blackback’s territory was almost 44 square kilometers in area.It was pretty big, though not as big as compared to the territory Venny owned, which was close to 100 square kilometers.At the center of the jackals’ territory.“Boss, we’ve received information that the Spider Queen was gifted many levels during her visit to God Yves this time,” one of the underlings spoke to Blackback.They were all humanoid jackals who could walk upright. Currently, they were all roasting meat on a bonfire and were enjoying their feast. The meat they were eating was stolen from another territory, after all.“That cunning spider bitch…” Blackback chewed on the bones like they were biscuits. “She’s probably over level 260 now, and I’m still only at level 236. The four feral, humanoid jackals jumped at them with their tongues drooling and hanging out.Sesi’s braid first flew and caught the jackal by the neck and burned its throat the point that flesh melted.Leah unsheathed her sword and blocked the claws of another jackal. She tried to release aura into her sword, but it didn’t work out. Still, she countered the jackal’s next attack and slit its face diagonally with a swift double-handed swing.Rowan, on the other hand, was pushed back by the jackal, which managed to cut up the skin and flesh on his arms. His defense was his strongest asset, but against the claws of this jackal that was leveled over 120, Rowans’ defense stat didn’t shine at all.The jackal licked his blood of its claws and grinned. “Human blood tastes the best. Now, why don’t I make you bleed some more?” he jumped and clawed with both of his hands. “Wind Tear!” His claws were able to slice through the air and send aerial slashes that hurt Rowan badly even though he crossed

Blackback suddenly disappeared from their sight with just one jump. Rowan and Leah immediately remembered the same thing happening with Boggy. The difference between their levels was so much they couldn’t even see the movement of their opponent. However, the spider general, Wendevorr, was able to trace the movement with his eyes, and looked up. He shot up a spear-shaped web at Blackback. Blackback was startled by it, but he managed to catch the web with his tail. “H-He stopped it with his tail?!” Wendevorr frowned. “Let me put this in your skull!” Blackback laughed maniacally as he came falling down straight toward the spider general. Whether it was due to fear or feeling a sense of defeat, Wendevorr’s body did not react fast enough. However, both Sesi and Leah attacked Blackback and struck him with their skills. “Flame Whip!” Sesi’s attack created a snapping attack that burned the hair on Blackbody’s body and left a mark on his skin. “Ending Bite!” Leah’s sword thrust also pu
