In Scarlet Rose colony.The humanoid ants were whipping at the regular ants that were the size of house cats. “Hurry up! Harvest the leaves!”The typical ground ants were digging into the soil and collected the roots of the Blood Leaf Trees.The trees that were formed out of humans through witchcraft were called Blood Leaf Trees by the monsters.The leaves of these trees were very sweet and edible, and they low-level ants served and supplied these leaves and roots to the higher-level ants, the commanders, the captains, and then sentinels that were above them.The Scarlet Rose colony was ruled by eleven commanders who would answer to the sentinel named Rose Witch. She was the daughter of Endeva, as with most of the sentinels that worked under Endeva.Currently, Gary and others were at the edge of the colony, where the territory was marked with a strong smell of acid. Gary’s team split into three groups.Currently, they were at Babuyan islands, on the northern side of what once used to be Philippines, whose map looked very different now with new landmasses and volcanoes rising up everywhere.The entire Philippines region has become at least five times bigger in area now. And these Babuyan islands connected the main landmass now.The levels of the worker ants went from as low as thirty to as high as 150. The commander ants were at least level 200.Leah and Wendevorr went to the west. Sesi and Goya went east.Gary and Rowan came down to the south from the center.Leah’s group employed a brilliant tactic. Wendevorr acted as a decoy. With him, the ants never thought that the humans intruded. On the eastern side of Babuyan islands.Sesi did not care the least bit about being stealthy, and she killed the ants very fast by drilling and cutting through their bodies with her hair.Goya got frustrated because Sesi was not leaving any ants for her. And she couldn’t get to the front, either, because she was afraid that Sesi might kill her unintentionally.Once every couple of minutes, Sesi kept leveling up, and this made her recover her stamina faster and keep fighting.At some point, the commander appeared and attacked her with explosive bombs, but these explosions couldn’t hurt Sesi who used her hair to shield herself. And then she attacked the commander ant with all of her hair.“Full Blight!”Her hair burned and sent waves of energy that all concentrated onto the commander ant and utterly destroyed his body in a huge explosion that sent smoke and flames into the sky.Even Leah, who was on the other side of the islands, was able to see the smoke in the sky.“That idiot…” Leah

Gary and Rowan were traveling down the central part of the Babuyan islands.Gary took a backseat as Rowan fought in the front. Unlike Sesi who could kill many ants at the same time, Rowan could only kill a few ants at a time because he was still not good at releasing his aura to enhance his swings and amplify the power he could release.Some ants ran past Rowan and attacked Gary, but they got destroyed into smithereens, and even Rowan couldn’t see how Gary was killing them.Gary was punching using his new skill ‘Flash Fist.’It was a combination of aura and the green lightning that he had. Using these two, he could release a condensed version of energy through his punches and make that energy travel and hit a target and explode in a destructive manner. Because of the sheer extreme speed of the attack, the ants died without knowing what hit them.Seeing the ants dying before they could even reach Gary, the other ants focused their attacks on Rowan instead.This gave Gary some time to l

Rowan tirelessly fought hundreds of ants of all levels. In the past, he had no way of accurately guessing the opponent’s level.However, now, his aura has bettered his senses, and he could vaguely guess the strength of the opponents now.As he fought the ants, he also tried to gauge Gary’s level, but he couldn’t tell exactly how strong Gary was. He could only tell that Gary was stronger than him because his aura signature was very strong.Just then, Gary sat down on the ground and started meditating.“What is he doing?” Rowan wondered.The ants initially didn’t attack Gary even after they saw him sit on the ground and close his eyes. They probably thought that he was luring them in. However, as seconds passed, some of them still felt the urge to attack Gary and so charged him.And this forced Rowan to fight these ants that went after Gary.He had to push himself in terms of speed and agility to deal with all the ants that tried to attack him as well as Gary at the same time.As he pre

Gary was trying to get to the stage of Energy Fusion.It was like one’s body absorbing the power of a medicine in their stomach. Only difference was that this medicine would not shrink in size. This medicine was his energy core which kept getting replenished by his breathing and concentrating.It wasn’t easy on his body at all. This felt much more painful than when Ai first entered his body and changed him.He could feel stinging pain in his heart because that was the first organ that he needed to fuse the energy with.Then the heart would be able to bear the increased blood pressure required to pump the energified blood to the rest of the body and the organs.It was a slow, tiring, and hurting process.Gary put his trust in Rowan and closed his eyes. Rose Witch’s hands were like serrated knives with sharp edges like the thorns on rose branches.Her attacks had an advantage in that they managed to better pierce through Gary’s defenses better than even a regular knife or sword could.So she was able to dig her way through Gary’s aura defense and strike his body, causing him to bleed from his arms.And she laughed maniacally as his blood sprayed into the air.However, Gary’s expression didn’t change one bit. He was already feeling tremendous pain in the heart because he was in the middle of fusing it, so he felt numb to pain anywhere else in the body, and it proved to be a blessing disguise now.He was able to bear the pain and counterattack Rose Witch.However, his fists couldn’t reach her because she was flying so fast he only managed to hit her afterimages.
