Leah was looking at the map. “This is pretty detailed. It shows what monsters live in which regions, along with the drawings of the monsters. But, the problem is that it’s pretty big. It’s over 400 square miles in area. That means we need to cover nearly 200 miles to get to the center. There are beasts in the sky, too, that we need to watch over.”“Which beasts are the closest to us?” Rowan asked her.“Let me check,” Leah took another look at the map. “Preying Mantis. No level is given, so I’m not sure how strong they are. Gary and his team reached the region where the Preying Mantis lived. The trees were huge and their stems and branches were shooting off in every direction. It was like a man’s imagination was at work. They all felt like they were inside a painting.“These trees must have been nourished well for them to not just grow tall but also branch out in so many directions,” Sesi said. She had a little bit of experience in growing trees, so she knew how ridiculous it would be to try and grow these types of trees by man.“Who cares about the trees?” Rowan did not care about the trees but only the triangle-faced preying mantises that were on these trees. Gary walked closer to the preying mantises and looked up at them, but their eyes weren’t set on him at all.It took him a few seconds to realize that they were not just staring at his team but especially at Goya.When she moved, these monsters moved their heads as well.“Goya, did you realize it?” Gary asked.“Yeah,” Goya innocently said. “My ear has a lot of dirt in it. Gary and his team reached the Fu Falls.“The map says that Chun Fu redirected the river and created this waterfall to support aquatic life forms in this forest, as well,” Leah was reading the notes on the back of the map. Her system helped her translate the text.“Changing the course of the river? That’s pretty crazy…” Sesi said. “If we do something like that in our country, it’ll get us arrested, won’t it?”“It surely will,” Rowan agreed with her, “but your puny little ability won’t be able to change the course of a river, so you have nothing to worry about.”“You talk as if your club swings can change the river’s course,” Sesi retorted. “You won’t even be able to create a crater big enough to fit a pond, much less a lake. Gary didn’t even respond to Sesi’s words, which sort of made it clear for them that they need to deal with the issue by themselves.“If you want to get the train under the waterfall, then you need to defeat the crocodile yourselves,” Wendevorr said. “That’s what Lord Gary is saying.”“We know what he’s saying,” Sesi blurted. “You don’t need to spell it out for us!”“Oh, I thought you didn’t know because you were going in,” Wendevorr responded.“Shut up. You expect us to just rush in without even planning properly?” Sesi barked at him. “I have flame ability, but it won’t work inside the water.”“Actually, it will work if you infuse it with aura,” Gary said.Sesi was startled to hear that. “R-Really?:”“Of course. Wendevorr was given the task to skin the crocodile and nicely cut its meat and season it. Goya was happily eating raw meat. She didn’t care about training because she didn’t need to worry about aura. As long as she killed some monsters and leveled up, it was fine for her.Leah, Gary, and Sesi were floating on the water stream, thanks to Wendevorr creating floating leaves reinforced with his webs. This helped them stand at a distance from the waterfall and launch their attacks.Leah’s attack was able to travel hundreds of feet and strike the waterfall, but Rowan’s attack didn’t even reach there. Sesi’s attack did reach there, but they didn’t do much damage at all. The tiny holes her flame attacks made were easily being filled up in a fraction of a second.This greatly hurt their egos and humbled them. They maybe around level 300, but in front of the waterfall, they felt very small.Every now and then fish came down the waterfall, and they tried to hit the fish with their attacks, too.

The vulture was really fast and silent. When he waved his wing and tried to cut through Gary’s neck, he thought he succeeded for sure.However, Gary ducked at the last second and raised his left hand and caught the culture by its foot.The vulture was shocked. He viciously shook its leg, trying to free itself, but Gary smacked its body to the ground to his left and right as if he was washing clothes. While still sitting on the boulder, he utterly destroyed the vulture, making its bones break and bleed from many places.Gary then flipped the heavy bird and caught it by the throat. By now, the vulture looked like it had a foot and half in his grave.“S-Spare me,” the vulture begged.
