“And what do you have to say for yourself about what they are accusing you of?” the judge asked Angela as she sat in the witness box.

She looked at Trevor, who was sitting to her left with his wife by his side, but even she could tell things were not okay between them. They walked inside the courtroom separately and they didn’t even look as happy together as she saw them.

And this was all she intended to do. This was something she hoped for, and it happened just like that.

“Well, what can I even say? The father of my child is the reason I'm here, and he has refused to take care of my baby. He manipulated me and lied about everything,” she said and began crying. “I didn’t even know he was married,” she added.
