CHAPTER 66

The men ran as fast as they could into the woods. And as they did, they kept looking behind as if someone was following them, but nothing. Jumped logs and logs until they got out of that damned place.

They both paused a bit and took long breaths as they stopped at a car. Looked at each other with wary faces and then jumped into the car as soon as they could.

The fat guy started the engine and took off. He could barely feet on the seat, but that did not stop him from stepping on that engine and getting the hell out of that place.

His friend turned to face him in surprise as if this is when he just realized that guy was here. He tried to speak but nothing came out of his mouth. Got his phone, looked at it for a few minutes as if waiting for a message but there was nothing there.

After a while of driving they both seemed to have calmed down a bit and he put the bag behind the car.

“What the hell is your problem? Why did you do that for?” He finally had the courage to ask.
