CHAPTER THIRTEEN

He looked at the note that sat on the table. Trying to think about what it all meant and why they sent it to him. If it was not addressed to him, then maybe he would have thought the mailman made a mistake. But the note was addressed to Trevor.

He sighed and got up, walking around the room. Thinking if he had any enemies in mind. The only people he could think of that would want to get to him were his in-laws. They all hurt him for the stance he just pulled the other night.

He took the thing they called home. They have no say around the house because of him. They never liked him in the first place, and now that he has money and he was treating them the way they deserved, their hurt grew.

Before he could pick up his phone, someone entered the office.

“Eliza,” he spoke as he turned around. “What do I owe this pleasure?” He asked and gestured for her to take her sit.
