They all kept looking at each other as he laid down rules to them. He knew it was going to be hard for them, but that was what he wanted. To make their lives as much miserable as they did with him.

All he ever did was be nice, and that was something they were not listening. He tried acting nice to them despite having enough money, but they were still hell bent on making his life hell.

He was silent for a while, then he smiled at her before getting back at them, “you need to be thankful to her for all she does. She has been running the family business ever since your grandfather died. And what have you done for her in return? Nothing,” I told them and they all just looked down. “Mateo, you are welcome to stay here if you want. Mother and grandmother alike. But there is a condition,” he smiled at his mother-in-law.
