Andrew awoke with a simmering rage still coursing through his veins, his mind consumed by thoughts of Nathan and the failure to capture him that he had endured. With a frustrated growl, he reached for his bedside table, grabbed his bedside landline phone and glared at the shattered remnants of his anger from the night before.

"Get me a new phone, now!" he barked into the device, his voice a low growl of frustration.

The guard on the other end of the line scrambled to obey, his voice trembling as he responded, "Yes, sir, right away."

Moments later, the guard came with the replacement phone, which he gave to Andrew. Andrew busied himself with transferring all the information from his old device cloud to the new one. Every contact, every message, and every piece of incriminating evidence that could be used against him—he made sure it was all safely stored away.
