HELL: The Dark Lord In City

Chapter 6

It’s been a week since the last meeting of Lucifer and Maze with the girls.

The boys were in constant contact with the men who were appointed the job of doing a background check on the girls.

It was 12 noon when Lucifer’s phone rang. He came out of his shower and slipped into his bathrobe before moving towards the dressing table where his phone was kept.

He picked up the call and kept the phone on handsfree while he himself looked upto him in large mirror in front of him.

“Sir we have found out the details of the girls.” The voice over phone said.

“What have you found?” Lucifer asked in his baritone while maintaining his eye contact in mirror.

“Sir those girls are biological sisters named Dia and Lily. Born and brought up in Goa. With a strong family background. They also owns clubs..the Club Royal is their most popular and profitable. Moreover this club is managed by the girls only.” The voice said.

Lucifer was surprised at this revelation and kept on creasing his fingers through his wet hair with water dripping from his head and trailing from his forehead to his cheekbone to his neck and finally getting absorbed by the robe around his collar bone.

“If they are so rich then why were they roaming around on a scooty?” Asked lucifer.

“Even we had a doubt about thats o we checked that every Sunday these girls visit their NGO named God’s will..they spend their whole day there only without their guards and without any show…on this particular day they prefer to stay low key..may be that’s why Scooty and all.” The voice said.

“Thanks you have found enough..but keep on checking if your find something intriguing.” Lucifer said and then disconnected the call.

He went outside the bathroom and entered his walk-in wardrobe area and got ready in a all black three piece suit and then from his collection of luxurious watches he took out his Louis Moinet and wore it on his left wrist.

After getting ready with perfect hair and perfect fragrance he was all set to go out.

When he reached downstairs from his room, he met with Maze who was all suited up in black suit. With an equally perfect appearance as of Lucifer.

“You remember we have a meeting with different club owners today, we have to take them under our brand…if we want to become the biggest club and casino brand in Asia.” Maze said while moving towards the car.

“Yeah I remember.” Lucifer said..and with a pause he asked, “are the owners of Club Royal joining in?”

“No but why?” Maze asked.

“I want Club Royal under my banner..Send the best proposal to them..everything would remain same except the parent company would be ours.” Lucifer said.

“No like seriously? You won’t change a thing? Then why you want it under your banner?” Asked Maze

“Cz it’s managed by the girls.” Lucifer replied.

“Ok we are getting it now.” Maze said with a straight face while Lucifer smirked.

When Lucifer was in the meeting with various club owners and pitched his investment idea in front of them, they all were super interested in collaborating with him.

After the end of meeting, lucifer was sitting on the chair and was going through various files..Maze walked upto Lucifer and asked, “can i ask something?”

“You know you don’t have to ask.” Lucifer replied while his eyes were glued to the file that he had in his hand.

Maze smiled and asked, “You already have such a big business..why are you planning to expand it even more and that also in this city?”

Lucifer closed the file and looked upto him, “May I’m getting influenced by humans..you know becoming money minded.”

Maze squeezed his eyes and asked, “you are going to show your cards or not?”

Lucifer laughed and asked him to get seated and said, “I’m just making my roots stronger here. The more contacts I have, the more easily we will be able to track down Gong.”

Maze gave him a confused look and asked, “And how’s your business connected to Gong?”

“It’s indirectly connected to him. Listen we know who were the people who got killed and transformed into evil spirits by Gong?” Lucifer asked and he got a reply from Maze with a nod.

“And Most of them were humans who came to clubs for partying or our men who guarded our clubs…that means he pray on innocents in crowded area.” Lucifer said and continued, “That’s why I’m trying to get such clubs under us so that I can have on as much as possible.” Lucifer said.

“Right.” Mumbled Maze.

“I have noticed a pattern..Gong never chooses his pray himself..it’s our hypnotised soldier who does that for him…so from now on we will track that soldier..most of the cases happens at that very place where he was sited.” Lucifer said.

“But there must be some basis on which he chooses his victims..or else he could have killed so many people till now.” Maze questioned.

“That’s something still unanswered..we have to find why he kills only the selected ones.” Lucifer slowly said.

They were driving back home, Lucifer was sitting at the front passenger seat of his luxury car while Maze drove it.

Lucifer spoke out, “you know the girls..they are humans. Born brought up here, in Goa..they have a whole damn family behind them.”

“What? That means they are not sent by God?.. seriously I thought that they must have descended from hell for us.” Maze said with disappointment in his eyes.

“Don’t feel disheartened..i still feel there’s more to what it seems. God would never create humans with face of his daughter-in-law and hell’s chief security’s wife. Our faces are built to be unique..”Lucifer said with confidence.

“But they acted like they don’t know us. And now that you told that they are humans, my hopes are already shattered.” Maze murmured.

Lucifer looked at his friend’s dull face and said, “they didn’t acted..but they seriously didn’t knew us at that time..i could see the truth in their eyes. I just want to know how can this happen?? They have same face, same deep eyes..but no memory of ours..Moreover they are humans..God it’s making me go crazy now!!!” Lucifer shouted at last sentence.

“I wonder what God is planning to do.” Maze said with dreamy eyes.

“Planning? I sometimes feel like he’s not planning a thing in my case..have just abandoned me in this mortal land to play and try my luck.” Lucifer said with a tint of sadness in his voice. He still have not settled with fact that his dad had banished him from the place he lives the most. Have not even tried to get in contact with him for once in past 300 years. Though he still hold grudges against his father for taking this reckless decision (as per him) but he do loves and misses him a lot.
