CHAPTER 180

The police and joint securities regained their composure and are now pushing back against the attackers.

Joseph managed to slip away unnoticed while still bleeding from the wound, he stumbled through the shadow of the mansion grounds, with his breath ragged and his vision blurred.

“I can’t let them catch me, never will I accept defeat,” he muttered to himself while desperate to escape.

He made his way towards a car park at a corner which was away from the prying eyes of the police and the guards. With trembling hands, he unlocked the car and slid into the driver’s seat. He stared at his clothes which had been stained with blood. He saw Ryan running towards him with great speed.

“I need to get out of here immediately,” Joseph said.

Ryan moved fast to stop the car but Joseph revved the car engine and drove fast before the police could notice what was happening he had zoomed off.

The odds were against Joseph’s men, they were surrounded by the police and several other guards.
