CHAPTER 78

He was driving and sipping his drink, he approached an intersection, where he saw a red light ahead of him and he instinctively pressed down on the brake pedal, But to his notice, there was no response. The car continues to hurtle forward, picking up speed with each second that passes by.

Brown began to panic, his eyes widened in shock, just like the drink cleared from his eyes immediately. “Shit, I thought this car was checked last few days ago. What’s happening.” He muttered inwardly.

His heart pounding fast in his chest, he repeatedly and frantically pumps the brake pedal with his leg. He even changed feet to be sure he was not mistaken anything but all his efforts to stop the car were futile.
