CHAPTER 126

The clear blue sky was a sharp contrast to last night’s heavy downpour. It rained through the night and finally stopped just before dawn. Now there were no traces of gloom, only bright, clear skies with white lumps of cloud and happy birds flying whilst chirping loudly.

Aurora slept peacefully last night. She made sure she came home and changed from her wet clothes before her husband returned. She took her time to wash herself and drown the memory of what she had just done under the warm shower.
