HIS RESURGENCE CHAPTER 34Scarlet woke up in the hospital, her body feeling sore and battered. She tried to get up but her body felt sluggish and she fell back onto the bed. She could feel a small bump on the back of her head where she hit the ground. Her clothes were soaked in blood and she couldn't remember what happened. HIS RESURGENCE CHAPTER 35Xavier pulled up in front of Scarlet’s small apartment. Scarlet had been discharged from the hospital when she insisted she could no longer stay there. Don Alfredo has tried to convince her to stay but she was stubborn as usual. She had been there for over a week and the idleness was killing her.“I have to go back to work.
