CHAPTER 30

Harry and Barbara were both seated across each other, with varieties of food placed before them. His expression was a mixture of awe and confusion. At first, he was scared and had to whisper to the manager, who couldn’t help but smile.

“Everything has been settled, you don’t have to worry.”

“Settled, by who?” Harry asked.

The manager patted his back, “Some questions should be left unanswered. Have a great time. The servants would attend to you; a room has been kept for you in case you need to make use of it. You can inform them, and they will guide you to the room,” He muttered before walking away.

Harry nodded, he couldn’t believe what was happening around him. Everything seemed confusing to him, but he knew if the manager refused to speak up, then only one person could give him the answer to his questions, which was Jack.

He smiled and moved back to sit with Barbara; they ate slowly, exchanging glances at each other with a smile.
