CHAPTER 12

Julian drew closer to his father, his eyes glued on his face, he heard him call him but couldn't presume what exactly could trigger his unpredictable slightly fallen demeanor.

"Son, walk with me," Lord Marshall firmly voiced, swiftly turning towards his left as he ambled through the hall and had his son walk behind him.

Julian's attention promptly drifted from his staff who were still engrossed in bewilderment with his latest policy and focused more on his father.

"Daddy… Is everything okay?" He spilled out after moments of awkwardness between father and son.

His father intentionally kept mute leading his son to his office for a needful meeting.

In a few moments, the two embodied men had alighted from the elevator after its usual DING sound notifying it's on the third floor that leads to the CEO's office.
