There was an abrupt jubilation occurring amongst Rihanna, Mrs. Dianne, and George. Julian didn't need to be told that he had been a barrier for so long; a curse that needed to be terminated as they couldn't bear the sight of him being a husband.
"I wish you the very best in life," Julian managed to spill out to his gorgeous wife, taking his left direction towards the stairs and a voice interrupted his movements. "Poor Julian, I need to keep you apprised of the latest," his ex-wife calmly mouthed sardonically.
Rihanna cleared her throat and a certain fully bearded man, about 5'9" tall, with blue-almond eyes, in his early Forties ambled through the stairs from their former matrimonial room. His shoulders up, chest out, his face somewhat stiffened which echoed "No nonsense would be tolerated."
Julian's eyes stood agape, pupils widened, gazing at the strange man in disbelief. It all seemed like one of those series he saw in Hollywood.
Rihanna winked at the strange man who blessed her forehead with a peak. "Julian, meet Mr. Wilfred, the man I intend to marry, a man with prospect and vision. A man worth ten times the man you could ever become. I need you to have it in the back of your mind what a real man should look like."
"You!" Julian abruptly voiced out, his eyebrows raised in rage. "How dare you?" Julian fiercely sprinted towards Mr. Wilfred holding tight to his collar with his muscles.
George, Rihanna, and Dianne stared in disbelief, they didn't understand the unfolding drama and what precipitated Julian squeezing Mr. Wilfred's well-ironed white shirt with his hands.
"Let go of me now!" Wilfred bawled out, his teeth gritted in intense anger whilst struggling to let loose Julian's grip.
"Let go of him!"
"Let go of him now!" George, Dianne, and Rihanna simultaneously echoed, their eyes still widened as they pondered what could have warranted such an act from poor Julian.
"No! I won't!" Julian retorted, his fists clenched, "This man was who got me fired today, he insisted I get relieved of my duties despite my endless pleadings for my slight mistake. I won't let him go."
Julian had gripped Wilfred's throat with his vigorous fingers that could hardly breathe.
George hastened from behind and knocked Julian off from his standpoint and he staggered twice on the third swing he abruptly slipped his left foot and found his shoulder thudded on the well-tiled floor.
"You got fired today? How dare you disrespect my man with such a stunt you just pulled huh?" Rihanna yelled, breathing heavily in rage.
George and Dianne winked at each other in excitement. "Oh, dear poor Julian, you lost your job after all?" They expressed wryly, still chuckling hysterically at a mission accomplished.
Mr. Wilfred rearranged his red tie and properly positioned it on his rumpled collar, clearing his throat after moments of being gripped. "Honey, I never knew this was the fellow you once married. He's not only poor but violent, gosh!" Still clearing his throat whilst panting heavily in disbelief at Julian's actions.
Mr. Wilfred is the Chief Operating Officer of the same company where Rihanna worked for. Little wonder both grew closer and spanked off their little fantasy and decided to make it official of all days; on the fourth anniversary.
Mrs. Dianne quickly broke her voice into alarming words. "Julian be rest assured for this uncultured action to my rich in-law, you are not gonna sleep under my roof tonight."
Rihanna felt somewhat cold about her mum's abrupt decision to throw her ex-husband out in the streets in a heavy downpour. But getting a slight wink from Wilfred she had no choice but to oblige.
George and Dianne followed suit. Wilfred and Rihanna pushed Julian from the living room to the entrance door, quickly squeezed the door open, and knocked him at the residence.
Julian held tightly to remain in the residence but the four against one played a pivotal part in over-empowering him.
All he could do was gaze in pain, tears welling up in his heart as he witnessed a day he didn't dream was near.
"David, will you open the gate at once," Dianne ordered the gatekeeper, who without delay unlocked the gate to have Julian thrown out into the street.
"Rihanna, don't do this, this isn't fair," Julian screamed out in distress, already clothed in the rain, his ex-in-laws and wife, together with Mr. Richard didn't mind being wet for some minutes as long as he was thrown out in the street.
Rihanna felt a little reluctant in her actions, but her facial expression quickly transformed from slight regret to a nonchalant outlook. In a few seconds, Julian was pushed off to the street.
Julian breathed heavily, he fought so hard but lost in strength. He hastened back to the gate and thudded heavily if they could have an instant change of mind but to no avail.
"Rihanna… don't do this… don't!" He yelled coldly, his body shivering profusely, it seemed like the heavy downpour decided to unleash just to punish and curse him that very evening.
Julian stared around the streets, no one seemed visible to offer help, it was just him against the world. Right there his world went blank and he couldn't help but smirk at his humiliating fate.
His entire day flashed to his memory; losing his job and not getting paid, being divorced and humiliated by his ex-wife and in-laws, being replaced by a better man, and being thrown out in the streets in heavy rain. How worse can a day become?
Julian fell to his knee against the stone floor, his forehead against the gate, his hands folded together in cold. "Oh. No!"
"This can't be happening!"
Julian found himself trashed heavily by the heavy outpour, he quickly left his ex-in-law's gate and ran towards his left wing under the rain. Julian had once perceived that his wife could someday demand a divorce but he didn't expect them to throw him off to the streets like they did. He had raced for several miles, his heart pounding out to his chest, and his heartbeat echoed, "Julian you're strong, don't let this pull you down," those words Lilian firmly said to him kept resounding in his head as he kept sprinting. He raced across the roadside and suddenly paused to catch his breath. 'I've got to do this,' he muttered to himself. 'Julian, you've got to do this,' he reiterated to himself, his voice barely above a whisper. Luckily, an approaching cab was heading towards his standpoint despite the rain he flagged it and headed towards a location where his instincts whispered to him. The cab personnel took him right to his destination, and he gently alighted and paid off with the l
Marshall chuckled sheepishly and hugged his son so deeply to himself. His father signaled his senior butler who took out a card from his pocket and handed it over to him."Young master, this card is credited with $500,000,000, please manage it for a start," he said respectfully, his head dressed with a bow. "At the garage; please choose any two Range Rovers Sports of your choice, and it will be all yours, Young Master." Julian Roland chuckled deeply in excitement, he could have left behind wealth to survive on his own but he never knew for once that his billionaire father would accept him back and promptly restore him to a billionaire. He was anticipating some measures of punishment after living for five years with a wrong notion of an untold decision regarding his sick mother's death."And that's not all my son," he said, cutting short his son's conflicting thoughts. "Right from this moment you'll become the new Chief Operating Officer of Honeywell Real Estate Ltd."Julian giggled u
A certain advanced man wearing a red stylish suit alighted from the car and ambled into the hall. Without further words, it wouldn't be wrong to assume that red is billionaire Marshall Roland's favorite color. The atmosphere was triggered into a state of awe. No one knew him and never expected the next COO to be as advanced in age as the man standing befall them."Good morning—Sir…" all the staff sputtered, struggling to break their voices into stable words. Silent indistinct mutterings unfolded in the atmosphere.Lord Marshall calmly cleared his throat and inhaled calmly. "Can I have your attention," his face switched from jovial to serious expression? "Many of y'all here don't know me and I duly understand.""Many of you haven't known much about Honeywell except the intricacies behind your designated duties. But in terms of its root, many have no single idea."The anticipation amidst the staff arose deeply, their hearts yawning to grasp all the necessary information, their eardrums
Mr. Wilfred ambled towards the stage, his heart pounding to his chest, his hands sweaty, his eyes barely above a downward state as he couldn't fully stare into the eyes of the billionaire man who lost his wife to him within 12 hours. The same despised man is a billionaire and has successfully replaced him in his father's company. Billionaire Julian nodded his head in contempt and brought out a document from one of his files on the table. "Mr. Wilfred you're hereby relieved of your duties and your services are no longer needed in our company." his words blurted out. "You made attempts to embezzle a significant amount of money from the last handled business through the forgery of the CEO's signature," his words were stern and explicit. The staff produced an indistinct chatter in shock at what was unfolding. They were thrilled by how fast he was able to deduce Mr. Wilfred's actions and how sound-minded he was in his managerial duties. Mr. Wilfred shivered in shock, he quickly glance
She staggered the more in disbelief, she glued her eyes more to her ex-husband; the same man she divorced within twelve hours ago. Rihanna glanced through the hall in shock, all eyes gazing back at her like an artist who's called on stage to perform. She never in her wildest fantasies ever imagined that such a day would ever come. Rihanna never knew that the man behind her success at the first instance was the man she falsely assumed was poor. That same man was the one who allowed her to work in a real estate firm that set her life running. She finally got to know that she wouldn't have been where she is if not for her ex-husband. Julian drew a deep breath in slight relief. "Having checked your input ever since you were promoted to the position of Assistant Accountant a year ago. You haven't proven your worth. Hence, I am…" He was about to complete his words when Rihanna quickly interrupted his speech. "Sir-Sir, please Sir, don't sack me, Sir," she quickly said in a most terrify
Wilfred took a closer glance at him, all these whilst he had been engrossed in saddened emotion, his sight had been on himself. But discovering how eager Patrick had been to obtain the full course of events, he should as well let the dog out of the cage. His eyes fixed on Partrick's face. "His name is Julian Mars…" he was almost completing his statement when Patrick interrupted him. "...Wait… just hold it there," raising his eyebrows after swallowing a little hard in confusion. "You mean Julian Mars Roland, his biological son?" Instantly his words escaped from his mouth, Wifred's eyes widened in disbelief, and he cleared his throat for a second time in shock. "Sir?... Seems like you know that fool?" Realization quickly struck Mr. Patrick exhaled deeply, switched his eyes toward his left wing, and fell into deep thought. Patrick's two feet kept thudding against the car carpet. He breathed heavily, sighed, and sneered deeply in utmost displeasure. His eye expression quickly switche
"Come on in," Julian calmly voiced, after a knock came at his office door. "The door is unlocked." Mr Earnest ambled into the COO's office, his hands folded together in respect. "Sir you sent for me," he politely uttered, glancing through Julian's face in anticipation. Mr Earnest is the Logistics manager and has been working for Honeywell Real Estate for almost a decade. He was the first person Julian opted to have a meeting with after sacking Wilfred and demoting Rihanna. Julian cleared his throat. "Please do have your seat," he addressed him, against him standing after sauntering into his office. Mr Earnest didn't hesitate knowing that what could have prompted such a meeting was serious. Julian continued, this time around he calmly breathed out, his facial expression mild and approachable. "Mr. Earnest I've known you for the longest time even before my Mum's death. I've taken my time to thoroughly access your reports and policies for over half a decade, and I must acknowledge t
Julian drew closer to his father, his eyes glued on his face, he heard him call him but couldn't presume what exactly could trigger his unpredictable slightly fallen demeanor."Son, walk with me," Lord Marshall firmly voiced, swiftly turning towards his left as he ambled through the hall and had his son walk behind him.Julian's attention promptly drifted from his staff who were still engrossed in bewilderment with his latest policy and focused more on his father."Daddy… Is everything okay?" He spilled out after moments of awkwardness between father and son.His father intentionally kept mute leading his son to his office for a needful meeting. In a few moments, the two embodied men had alighted from the elevator after its usual DING sound notifying it's on the third floor that leads to the CEO's office.Lord Marshall's office door was calmly unlocked, Julian for the first time beheld the sight of his father's office, he only knew what floor it was but hadn't been able to converse wi
