***********Meanwhile, in the modern world,Vitalik was inside his Range Rover outside Hudson’s apartment building. He was staring at the iPad in his hand, hoping that the GPS signal would appear on it.I don’t think the signal would ever come back; it has been more than two days already. I think the boss is just being wishful to think that the signal would appear. I don’t like spending the night in this car and not going home to my family, Vitalik thought.At the end of each day, he always calls Scott and gives him feedback on what is going on so far. He picked up his cellphone and dialed Scott’s number, and after a few rings, Scott answered the call."Tell me, what do you have for me?" Scott asked curiously."Nothing yet, boss; the GPS signal has not yet shown up on the map," Vitalik answered."Fuck, why is it taking so long!" Scott screamed."I don’t know, boss, but I think we need to let it go; it has been days and still nothing. What if he knows that we are after him and he fled?

"What are you guys doing here?" He asked raising an eyebrow."We came here to see you; we want to have a chat with you," Scott answered calmly. He was wearing a black suit and a black hat."A chat? How did you even know my house address? I thought we only did business? What are you doing at my house?" Hudson bombarded Scott with questions. He never imagined that Scott would be the one he would see in front of the door."Just come with us; you will have the answers to all those questions," Scott answered.With the way they were all standing and how sketchy they dressed, Hudson could sense that something was off about the visit; he could feel that he was in some form of danger."And what if I don’t want to come with you guys?" Hudson asked. He didn’t feel like going with them because, as far as he knows, Scott was his gun plug, and they have no other business or anything to discuss apart from the gun sales and exchange."You will have to come, or you will not like what will happen next,

"What did you say?" Scott asked in a rumbling tone."I say do what you please," Hudson answered boldly.Looks like he is ready to die and doesn’t want to talk. I am not going to kill him yet; he is going to tell me the truth, and I am going to let him beg for mercy until he finally decides to tell me the truth, Scott thought."Vitalik! Opto! Beat him up!" Scott yelled as he lowered his gun and sat back down in his revolving chair.Vitalik and Opto walked over to where Hudson was as they started beating him up. They punched his stomach multiple times as he started vomiting blood. Hudson don’t even know if he would be able to make it out of his situation alive, but he hoped that a miracle could happen before then. As he could tell that Scott was not joking around with any of the threats he was making.***************Meanwhile outside the warehouse,Scott was standing close to Vitalik’s Range Rover, Vitalik, Opto were standing in front of him.“We will be heading over to Hudson’s apartment, I want to kidnap his mother and sister, I want to use them as bait to get Hudson to give us the information we need. Vitalik you and Opto are going to kidnap them, Opto will take the daughter, while Vitalik will bring the mother into the Range Rover with me, I will have a word with her before we use her as bait,” Scott explained staring at Vitalik and Opto.They both nodded their head in agreement, after that Scott and Vitalik got into the backseat of the Range Rover as one of Scott’s men was in the front seat.*********Tricia and Grace were sitting down behind the kitchen

************Scott was sitting on his desk in the large office inside the warehouse. Tricia and Grace were tied up in chairs in front of him, while Vitalik and Opto were standing behind the chairs.“Go and bring Hudson in here,” Scott said staring at Vitalik and Opto.“OK boss,” they replied in unison as they went out of the office.A few moments later, Vitalik and Opto entered the office as they were carrying Hudson with the chair that he was tied up in. They dropped the chair on the ground behind Tricia and Grace.“We have a special surprise for your Hudson,” Scott said as he gave Vitalik and Opto eye signals for them to turn Tricia and Grace’s chairs to face Hudson.They turned the chairs around as Hudson saw his mom and sister. *****Scott entered the large office as he walked over to his desk and sat on it as he gazed at Hudson and Tricia.“Did you see the gold coins I told you about?” Hudson asked.“Yes, I did, and now I believe everything that you have told me. Everything is the truth, but there is going to be a slight change in our agreement, I will need you to do something very important for me,” Scott answered.“Important?” Hudson asked softly. What is this maniac up to again? Hudson wondered.“Yes, I want you to take me into the magical world, I want to deal my guns inside there myself,” Scott said boldly.Hudson and Tricia gaped as they looked at each other.“What? I don’t think that would be possible, I think the system can only take me into the magical world, plus I don’t think anybody apart from me can see anything relating to the system,” Hudson explained.“I don’t care, you will have to find a loop, or you and your family are going to die here,” Scott responded bluntly.Hudson’s eyes opened wide

“He is going to let us go, what are we going to do? We can’t just leave here without you,” Tricia said with a teary eye.“You and Grace are going to leave, I am the only one that got myself into this mess and I am going to get myself out of it,” Hudson replied in a low tone.“But make sure that you are fine and don’t get killed please, I am begging you Hudson, I can’t lose you,” Tricia said as tears started dripping down her cheeks as she folded her hands together.Hudson held her hands. “Don’t worry mom, nothing is going to happen to me, I assure you,” he said with a sad look. Even though he is not sure of what would be the outcome with Scott, he wanted to give her assurance, as he hates seeing his mom cry.Hudson leaned towards her ear and told her that after she and Grace get back home, they should take a lot of cash and flee the city and go somewhere safe until they hear from him and that if they don’t they should just start a new life and move on as they can’t even get the author
