NARROW ESCAPE

Ajax and Hudson stopped at a dark corner that had shops on both ends. They were both breathing heavily from the run. "That was crazy," Hudson said as he stood up.

"Yes, it was; I never thought we would end up in such a situation," Ajax replied as he raised his head to look at Hudson.

"I knew something was sketchy about that field," Hudson added. Ajax handed the two sets of swords that were tied together back to Hudson.

He moved closer to Hudson and gazed into his eyes. "Tell me, I thought you stopped selling those guns here in this world; what happened?" Ajax asked bluntly.

"I stopped selling guns; I swear, I don’t know where they got the guns; I might have sold it to them back when I was selling guns, and they might not have used it since then, or their guns might not even have bullets at this point. I am telling you the truth," Hudson answered swiftly. He saw the little doubt in Ajax’s eyes, and he wanted to clear the doubt as fast as possible.
