Hudson was bleeding profusely from his mouth, and his eyes were swollen. "This is the end for you; any final words before I end you?" Atticus asked, staring at Hudson with an evil look in his eyes.

I can’t die here; I still have a lot I need to accomplish. I can’t let Atticus kill me here today; never. I have to do something, Hudson thought as he remembered the gun that was in his pocket.

"Give me a moment," Hudson said in a low tone, as he could barely speak.

"There is nothing that you can do that will save you at this point; this is the end for you; you can have your moment," Atticus replied as he stood up from Hudson’s body as he stood next to him.

This is great, the fool stood up, Hudson thought as he stood up, put his hand inside his pocket, and took out the gun. He swiftly turned over to where Atticus was and shot him in the forehead.
