"Run!" I yelled as I took Ally's hand. Jody was reacting to the bite. She was turning into one of them. Ally thought her friend was waking up but that wasn't it at all. She was insisting I let her go so she could go to her friend. She screamed when Jody caught her leg. Ally could see how paled Jody's eyes were and how red her eyeball was. "A vampire! Everybody run!" I yelled again. She would be hungry during this period and would take on anybody she see. I kicked Jody's hand away from Ally's leg and handed her to Owen to take her far away.

"What about you Inez? Come on!" Owen said and I shook my head. " I will stall it so you guys should run," I said. I was not quite ready for this battle but I had a lucky chance of winning. Jody hasn't fed yet so she would still be weak.

"I will stay with her. Just go." Daniel said as he stood next to me. We watched as the rest of them ran out of the forest. I tried distracting it a little. I didn't want to change to my real form. Daniel would see
