Chapter 13: Midnight cries

She covered up herself while trying to ignore the cries and get back to sleep somehow, anyhow!.

The cries increased and she couldn't really tell if it was that of a human being or an animal but then something happened.

“Give me back my own and stay away from me”, sofia sprang up from bed and checked around with her torch trying to make sure that she was the only one in the room.

“Give me back my own and stay away from me!“, Sofia heard the voice again, this time it was louder than before.

Fear gripped her as she held unto the duvet. The voice seemed to be coming from under her window.

She immediately shut all the windows and hid under the covers trying to stay away from the scary voice.

It became louder and clearer, sofia could hear the voice echoing in her room. It was like someone else shared the room with her at that point.

She screamed and fell into unconsciousness.
