Chapter 17: "Rita can you please wake up?'"

She went closer and shook Rita vigorously, seriously trying to wake her up.

She heard squeaks from the window, a high pitched sound that seemed to increase whenever she tried waking Rita. This continued for two times until she tried again..

The sounds became higher as her window became wide open causing a heavy breeze to come inside.

Sofia ran and hid behind the cupboard, things were getting worse by every second. She stared at Rita who looked deep asleep.

“Why would waking Rita up be so much of a hassle?“, Sofia breathed heavily and pondered on everything that just happened. If she was some sort of a light brained person, she definitely would have thought that Rita had something to do with her current situation.

But things were not actually what they seemed to be. Sofia crossed her hands and placed them on her knees as she rested her back on the wall obviously expecting the worst.

Whoever caused all these definitely came for her. Sofia was not a deep Christian who would have started
