Chapter 48: Buried Wood's

The inscriptions their bodies made was just an arrow in a weird position. "The two ladies at the top represented this symbol,"^", then the male body represented this "|". Gabriel thought inwardly while arranging his fingers according to the symbols.

He took a closer look at these dead bodies and discovered that there was something odd with the way they lay on the ground. Apart from the inscription, there was another reason for keeping them that way. They were so close to the door as though they were guarding something.

As a great sorcerer, things like this didn't scare him. They were like easy puzzles one could solve at the moment. Arranging these bodies was like signaling him to go away, but he forged ahead instead of doing the latter without the least ounce of fear.

Gabriel proceeded to the door and once he got to the foot of the male, the dead bodies disappeared, he looked around but they were not in sight. This gave him enough room to walk in.
