Chapter 107

My mind fought to shake the image of Jackson exploding in the ceiling corner of the bathroom, the same bathroom I had been attacked in a week ago.  My body went into a shock-like state, seeing my little brother killed right before my eyes when he was just lying next to me in my bed, resting from pure physical exhaustion.

I need help right now.  Never in my life had I needed more help than at this point right now.  There was no way I could go and grab my parents; they would not understand, and they would want more answers than I could provide to them.  Jennifer was napping at home after seeing her boyfriend killed right next to her in a vicious car accident.  Todd was out front, but I had a horrible fear that I would not be able to get outside to grab him without my body giving up and shutting down.
