The release bell howled angrier than before, at least it sounded like that.  The ferocity of it hurt my ears and caused me to flinch.  I would normally allow myself to get annoyed or distracted by that but I needed to know what Mrs. Tannell was smiling about.  She was the key to helping me resolve my ghost problem and get back on track to normal teenager issues.

Jennifer trudged out of class not even looking to see if I was following.  Her body was going through the motions, but it was just an empty vessel, she was gone, at least until I could get things worked out and back in the proper order.  Death looked like it really sucked especially because no one could tell except for me and Mrs. Tannell.  The other kids just assumed she was having teenage problems or on drugs like the rest of the cool
