Chapter 27

The demon woman was flat out, full diving towards me as I scrambled to crab crawl myself as far away from her as I could.  Her fresh, young arms were outstretched with ferocious claws leading the way.  Her blonde hair slicked back against the wind speed she had created.  She would have made a hell of a bodyguard for a President or celebrity, diving in front of supersonic bullets taking the hit to protect the asset she was assigned to.  If only she were a good guy, someone fighting for righteousness and the wellbeing of humanity, and not an evil demon woman seeking to ravage the world only to take it over as her new domicile.
