The school day had finally ended, it was over and Friday. A nice weekend to recharge the batteries was desperately needed and that was my full intention, other than the meeting with The Wall tonight, I had absolutely zero plans and intended to keep it that way. The demon’s chest cavity, dark and shriveled, was wide open. Each bone Todd encountered had hundreds of small spines growing from them, like thorns on a rose bush. For some reason, we all disregarded the gruesomeness of what we were looking at. It was a relatively human type of corpse, except for the extra heads, legs and arms. The screaming from outside subsided suddenly, as if the person that was screaming had passed out or flat out vanished from the face of the Earth. A dragging sound could be heard getting louder and louder as time passed.
