The demon’s chest cavity, dark and shriveled, was wide open. Each bone Todd encountered had hundreds of small spines growing from them, like thorns on a rose bush. The portal began to hiss and rumble so loudly that it felt as if the devil himself were coming through. Todd was still working away, delicately dissecting the dead demon while Nurse Helen took the yellow orb that we obtained from the murdered woman from Mrs. Tannell. Mrs. Tannell removed her metallic box that somehow used the orbs' energy to give her spiritual power and set that beside Jennifer. Nurse Helen grabbed the metallic box, opened it and added the yellow orb to the box.
