Chapter 75

The time had come, it was finally the time to begin our search.  The office adjacent to my room was going to be our first test.  I was going to heavily rely on my pendant and its reaction when we were searching.  The pendant that Mrs. Tannell had given me had yet to fail to warn me of impending doom and I knew I could trust it in this situation.  There was an urgency to this mission, but we had to be very methodical as to avoid any potential disasters.

My parents had finally fully gone to bed now, the light that was glaring out from under their door from the television had gone dark and remained that way.  The television was off, and I could hear my father already rhythmically snoring.  If I did not know any better, I would like there was some sort of small engine machine running in there or a wild animal was loose.  He snored terribly loud but since I did not share a bedroom with him, it was very comical to me.

I grabbed the flashl
