11. Teaching the Servants Harsh Lesson

......

......

This was intensified because the two servants thought they hadn't pissed him enough and made his work even harder by messing with him.

"Hey, seniors... could you kindly follow me for a bit?" Aarav asked the two servants he met earlier in the day when he arrived.

His forehead had a tick mark, twitching from the anger he was holding back.

"What...what...what do you want?" Both servants looked at him, sensing that something wasn't right based on his tone.

Aarav's eyes narrowed, and he replied with an unsettling calmness, "Oh, nothing much. Just thought we could have a little chat about the 'special' treatment you've been giving me."

"First, let's go to the back of the estate!" Aarav said as he gripped their shoulders with each hand and dragged them to the back where no one was around.

"Why did you bring us here...this...this place?" both of them asked, glancing nervously around the deserted back of the estate.

Aarav chuckled, a bitter edge in his tone. "Dear seniors, don't you enjoy looking down on me and harassing me every chance you get during your free time?"

The first servant stammered, intimidated. "What are you talking about...we were just teaching a junior, so you wouldn't mess up your work...R-Right!" He nervously shook the second servant.

"Y-Yes...he's right, we never tried to harass you, we were only teaching you," the second one hastily agreed.

Aarav tightened his grip on their shoulders as he laughed. "Really, teaching me...Hahahaha! What a load of bull...!"

"Do you know who I am in this family and who you are in this family?" Aarav asked, eyeing their scared faces.

"You...you...are the son-in-law of the Rossi family, while we...we...are servants of this family," both of them replied, fear evident in their tone.

The pressure Aarav emanated was like a heavy stone pressing down on them.

The first servant, attempting to regain composure, said, "You can't scare us with empty threats. We're just doing our job."

The second one chimed in, "Yeah, this is ridiculous. You think you're some big shot just because you're married to our eldest Miss."

Aarav's eyes glinted with anger. "You still have the nerve to dare argue with me?!"

The first servant, nervously but defiantly, retorted with a sharp sarcastic remark, "So what, you're bluffing. You can't do anything to us. You're just a coward who can only timidly follow the orders of the Mistress."

The second servant, sneering, added fuel to the fire, "You're nothing but a tag-along in this family, riding on the Rossi name."

Aarav's patience snapped like a taut rope. "You insolent fools! Do you forget your place?"

The first servant, now openly defiant, spat out, "Place? You talk about place? We know our place, unlike you who thinks a marriage certificate makes you royalty."

The second one scoffed, "Yeah, royalty without any real power. Just a puppet dancing to the whims of the family."

Aarav, seething with rage, hissed, "You'll regret crossing me. I'll make sure your 'place' is a memory."

The first servant, fueled by bravado, mocked, "Go ahead, Rossi's lapdog. Bark all you want; we're not afraid of an empty threat."

Aarav's eyes narrowed dangerously. "You'll wish you never underestimated me."

"Bamn...Bamn...Thud...Thud...!"

The sound of swift slaps and punches echoed as the two servants received the beating of their lives.

As they groaned in pain, Aarav spoke with chilling calmness, "Do you still think I'm bluffing?"

The once defiant servants, now on the ground, whimpered, realizing the gravity of their situation.

The pressure Aarav emitted was something no normal person could bear without fear, making it hard for them to stand.

Fortunately for them, Aarav's divine powers hadn't awakened yet; otherwise, they would have been kneeling with their heads pressed to the ground, foam coming out from their mouths from the pressure alone.

"If you know your place in this family and understand my status, why did you act like you're superior to me...huh!" Aarav's cold tone made them shiver as he looked directly into their eyes.

"We're so-sorry...pl-please spare us!" The first servant begged, terror filling his eyes as he glimpsed Aarav's gaze, a reflection of a devil ready to harvest their souls.

The second servant, desperation in his voice, pleaded, "We didn't mean to disrespect you, please have mercy. We'll do anything to make it right."

Aarav, unmoved, continued to glare at them. "Anything, you say? Your apologies won't undo your arrogance."

The first servant, tears streaming down his face, begged, "We'll do whatever you ask. Just spare us, please!"

The second, almost incoherent in fear, stammered, "We were wrong. We'll never challenge you again. Spare our lives, please!"

Aarav let go of their shoulders, causing them to fall and soil themselves.

Making a disgusted expression, Aarav left them with a final, threatening message.

Aarav, though impassive, took a moment to savor their desperation before finally saying, "Consider this your warning. Cross me again, and you won't be begging for mercy; you'll be begging for your lives."

Aarav gave them one last look before leaving the scene, feeling the need to take a bath. "Shit...now I need to clean myself from this disgusting smell!"

"Ahhhhhh...!" As he departed, both servants felt as if their throats were being cut by an imaginary red devil, screaming in fright, covering their throats, and shivering on the ground.

......

After returning to the hall, Aarav headed to his wife's bedroom, technically his temporary space. When Elara was at the estate, she occupied the bed while he made do with the couch below the window.

"Hmm, now I feel refreshed! Did Elara change the shampoo? It smells nice." Aarav emerged from the bath, a towel draped over his shoulders, the lingering scent suggesting a recent change made by his wife before her trip.

"Hmm, wow, this is something. I didn't pay attention to my look before, but damn, I look like a completely different person." Aarav stood in front of the mirror, wearing only a towel. His transformed physique, courtesy of the divine powers, resembled that of someone who had trained diligently for a lifetime.

"Ring...Ring...!" Just as he finished bathing and marveled at his reflection, his phone rang, diverting his attention.

"Hmm, it's my sister-in-law. Why is she calling me?" Aarav expressed surprise as he noted her name on the caller ID.
