Chapter6: collecting intrests

The elegant young man trembled in fear as mavin focused his attention on him, but then, all of a sudden, it was as if he recalled something, and his eyes slowly lit up, and the arrogant grin that had been on his face before reappeared.

   He made a motion toward mavin and demanded once more as though he hadn't heard the prior statement mavin had made.

  "You had better cease interfering in the business of the Ric family or else you'll surely come to regret what you've done. Is it any secret to you that the Ric family is one of the most powerful families in the blue wave region?"

   Mavin stopped listening to the elegant young man as he rambled on with his gibberish and instead focused my attention on Dony as he continued to speak.

   Mavin said to Dony as he tapped his shoulder. "are you ok"

  The young man gave him a look that suggested he was perplexed as to why he was assisting him before he simply nodded his head in response to mavin's question.

  It seems as though Dony did not recognize Mavin;  however, given that he was only five years old when Mavin was killed and sent out of this world, he is  not overly surprised by this turn of events.

  Mavin redirected his attention to the elegant young man and made a remark. "Come here and apologize to him, and I will reduce the severity of your sentence!"

    "phhff!"

     Before giving him a response, the elegant young man came very close to bursting out laughter. "Punk, are you attempting to give me orders? I am keven Dric, the nephew of Dornald Ric, the family head of the Ric family. Who the fuck do you think you are to have the balls to demand that I apologize to that loser?"

  When he heard Donald's name, the furrows in Mervin's brows immediately started to fill in. As it turns out, history is actually repeating itself.

  When he was the same age as Dany, his older cousin, Donald, would pick on him in exactly the same way.

   It would appear from the tone of that kid that he has become this arrogant as a result of Donald's backing.

   Donald must place a lot of support in him if Mavin was to deal with him, it would be the same as collecting some interests for all what Donald had did to him. Fate must have decided for him to come across this so that he can collect the interest.

   The more keven spoke, the more arrogant he became, especially when he noticed mavin knotted brows and his silence.

   "you're such a coward, you turned grim from fright the moment I mentioned my uncle, well if you want all of your offense to be written off, you can start by offering your spatial ring as a sincere apology," 

   After blurting out these words, keven had a smug smile on his face. It would appear that this isn't the first time he has fooled an expert by utilizing the influence of his uncle.

His uncle Donald's fame spread throughout the entire blue wave region as a powerful cultivator in the nanscent soul realm, and any wondering expert had heard of him.

As a result, he assumed that, just like his other victims, Mavin would hand over his belongings.   However, he would have been pissing in his pants right now if he knew about the relationship between Mavin and his uncle and how he's about to suffer because of that.

   As a result of Mavin's anger toward patric earlier, he had a strong desire to waste this young brat right now; but, Mavin  refrained from doing so since it would not be enough of a punishment for him; rather than passing away, he should endure a fate more tragic than passing away.

  Mavin lifted his hand and casually waved it in the air as he stood there. Mavin 's palm traveled across the void and settled on keven's cheeks.

  As soon as Mavin's hand fell on his cheeks, a pitiful howl sounded out, and keven was thrown flying behind him, crashing into a random wall.

 The impact of Mavin's smack completely damaged all of the bones and meridians in his body that were suited for cultivation, and from now on, he will be unable to recover his cultivation abilities.
