The day was was eventful for Emily as she went out with her friends to a lot of places, none of them talked about the incident, which made her feel relieved a lot cause she didn't have any explanation for it if they asked.
Soon it was nighttime as the day ended, bidding her friends' goodbye Emily went home in high spirits.
That night, Emily lay on the bed tossing and turning, she was very tired but she couldn't sleep, she felt as if a pair of eyes were staring at her from the dark watching her closely which send a shiver down her spine and made her very uncomfortable.
---
In the woods, inside the mansion, Rachel was still where she sat chanting, the strange phenomenon happening around her was still happening, she had been in this state for a whole day which made her feel drained, but during the period, information about the realm they were had been pouring into her head gently like a flowing stream, she used her spiritual sense to search for the hell wolf, all she could sense was that they were closer to the hell wolf cause she could only catch a wisp of its faint extraordinary aura.
When Rachel felt she could take the fatigue no more and all her energy had depleted, she stood up heading to where Jason and Damien were, getting to where they were, she saw the both sprawled on the floor, it seems like they were already bored by staying at a place for a whole day, well it wasn't any easy for her as well.
Jason and Damien similarly were getting impatient, they had been waiting for Rachel the whole day but there was no sign of her coming out of where she was secluded, they couldn't go anywhere as they knew nothing about the realm nor the place they were, so they had to wait for Rachel to finish whatever she was doing and give them information about what the needed to know, as a result, everything became boring to them.
As they were thinking about
this, they heard the faint footsteps of Rachel.
Jason and Damien's eyes glittered with joy when they saw Rachel walking toward them with a fatigued expression, they knew she must have finished whatever she was doing.
"I have good and bad news for you guys," Rachel said.
"The good news is that were close to the hell wolf, while the bad news is that I can't detect who's its host cause I guess it's been sealed in its host so even the host has no idea of what's inside him or her," Rachel continued.
"If you can't find the host of the hell wolf how did you know that we're close to it," Jason asked.
"Cause I caught a wisp of its aura, though the aura is faint," Rachel replied and the two nodded.
"Let me pass on some information to you guys," Rachel said and went closer to them, raising two of her fingers and chanting some words, she used them to tap both of them simultaneously.
Immediately, Information rushed into their minds, making their head hurt as they groaned in pain.
Some minutes later their heads stopped hurting as they both looked at Rachel in surprise.
"Am going back to rest, you guys shouldn't disturb me in the meantime," Rachel said going back into one of the rooms.
Jason and Damien could care less as they absorbed the information that was poured into their minds, it was a lot so they needed time to digest it.
-----
At the same time, not far from the mansion in the woods, a female clad in black opened her eyes. The eyes carried a strange glow with them.
"What did you see," two figures suddenly appeared beside her before asking.
"We're closer to the hell wolf, but it's good at hiding, all I need is just a wisp of its aura and I'll be able to find its location.
Since it's that, let's go see what this realm is made up of," one of the figures said. Immediately they disappeared.
------
A day later, in the mansion inside the woods, Jason and Damien woke up with a yawn. They had fallen asleep while digesting the information Rachel passed into their minds.
"What are we going to do now," Jason asked turning to Damien.
"Get your asses up, guys. We are going to school since there's nothing to do," Jason and Damien heard Rachel's voice as she came to where they were.
Jason and Jason grumbled before standing up, "don't you think she's acting bossy, ordering us all around," Jason whispered to Damien.
Damien nodded in agreement, "we both know there's nothing we can do about it, one of the instructions from the clan head was to follow all her arrangements, also we can't beat her if we try to fight her," he whispered.
"What are you guys whispering," Rachel suddenly asked interrupting the boys.
"N..o.. n..no," we're not saying anything, the two shuttered as they rushed to wash up.
Some minutes later Jason and Damien came back clad in black.
"Took you two long enough," Rachel sneered when she saw the boys.
Jason and Damien looked at themselves in a confused manner, "what are you thinking of, let's go," Rachel snapped bringing the two out of their confused state.
The tree walked outside the mansion, immediately after they got outside, Rachel turned around facing the mansion muttering a spell, and immediately, the mansion disappeared.
"What did you just do to the building," Damien asked looking confused.
"Don't you worry, I just made it invisible," Rachel replied smiling smugly.
"So which school are we going to," Jason asked changing the topic.
"There should be a school not too far from where we are," Rachel replied.
"Off we go then," Damien replied speeding off to the distance.
"Hey, blockhead, where are you headed to?" Rachel shouted after the figure of Damien.
But alas it was too late, Damien had gone far and didn't hear her.
"Don't worry, he'll come running back soon," Jason replied.
Soon Damien came back running to them, "where the hell did you just run off to," Rachel asked immediately after Damien came back.
Damien scratched his head and didn't know what to say, just now he had run off not knowing where he was going, not until covered a long distance before he realized he didn't know where he was running to.
So quickly he ran back, and surprisingly Rachel and Jason were still waiting for him.
"Next time, we wouldn't wait for you," Rachel said to Damien crossly.
"Let's go," she continued. Immediately the three disappeared after Rachel muttered some spells.
-------
"Sis, what the hell are you doing, Harry yelled from the sitting room, he was ready for school. He wondered what she was doing.
"You don't dare," Emily yelled back from her room, she had just woken up, she was too tired the day before and had overslept, if not for the idiot she called her brother, who had come to disturb her, saying he would leave without her, she would still be on her bed sleeping.
Anyways she had no choice but to get up and prepare for school or else Harry would leave and go without her, though her parents wouldn't scold her if she missed school today, she didn't feel like missing school.
Thirty minutes later, Emily walked out of her room clad in black jeans and a black shirt, he hair was tied into a bun. The shirt she wore was loose which made her look funny in it.
Harry who had been waiting for Emily sighed when he heard her footsteps coming to the sitting room, though he had threatened to leave without her, deep down he knew he couldn't do it.
"Let's go," Harry said immediately Emily reached the sitting room at the same time giving her a lunch box.
"What's this," Emily asked collecting the lunch box with her eyebrows raised.
"Have packed your breakfast for you," Harry grumbled.
"How sweet of you to do that," Emily smiled happily, patting Harry on his head.
"Sis am not a child, am fucking sixteen already," Harry grumbled his expression displeased.
"Well let's go, we shouldn't disturb mum and dad," Emily said going to the garage.
Harry sighed, his sister had successfully annoyed him this morning and there was nothing he could do to it.
He had no choice but to go to the garage.
Harry grumbled starting the car as he drove to school.
Their journey to school was rather interesting as Harry drove and swerved dangerously on the lane which made Emily scream in fear, when Emily asked him why he was driving dangerously, Harry claimed they were late so he had no choice but to drive that way.
Before long they arrived at school. While Harry went off with his friends, Emily also disappeared with her friends.
----
Three figures suddenly appeared at a close distance not far from the school, if someone had been there at that moment they would have fainted due to the shock of not believing their eyes.
"You guys should listen, once we enter this gate, I would act as your older sister while you two would act as my distant cousins," Rachel said to Jason and Damien.
Jason and Damien nodded in agreement before walking into the school gate.
Rachel, Jason, and Damien walked into the school gate, they were clueless about what to do next, suddenly Rachel walked over to a group of students chatting in the distance.
"Excuse me, we are new students here," Rachel said as politely as she could.
The students who were chatting looked at themselves strangely, before ignoring Rachel.
This made Rachel feel anger boil in her, instantly she clenched her teeth as she chanted some words.
Immediately the students stopped what they were doing and bowed to Rachel, "we're at your command," they said.
Jason and Damien who was watching from where they stood frowned and quickly came to Rachel's side, "why did you put them under a spell it's dangerous," Jason asked.
"They were rude to me, so that's what they deserve, besides I just need to ask them some questions and then I would release them," Rachel replied.
Jason and Damien didn't say anything, they knew if they tried to convince her any further, Rachel might put them too under a spleen that would make them follow her like a dummy.
"What do we need to do since it's our first time here," Rachel asked turning to the students.
Immediately the students told them the whole procedure l, after some minutes, the three got what they were supposed to do, they asked for the direction of the principal's office before heading in its direction.
"Won't you release them from the spell," Jason whispered to Rachel as they were going.
"Ohh, I nearly forgot," Rachel replied, she muttered some words under her breath releasing the students.
The students who had stood blankly on a spot after Rachel, Jason, and Damien left came back to their senses, they felt as if they had just broken out of a trance.
"What's happening," one of the students said.
The others looked at themselves confusedly, they had no memory of what just happened, all they knew was after a strange girl came to ask for directions and they ignored her, they couldn't remember what happened next.
"I bet Mr. Oliver would be mad at us, we're late," one of the students said as they rushed to their classes.
Jason, Damien, and Rachel walked to the principal's office without a care in the world.
Rachel was chanting some words under her breath while Jason and Damien walked beside her without uttering a word. They wondered what spell she was saying.
Soon they got to the door. The three went opened the door and went inside without knocking.
The principal was a woman with an oval face, her hair flowed down behind her back. Her eyebrows were so long that they almost intersected each other.
The principal looked up in surprise to the people who had just entered her office without knocking, she stood up and was ready to scold the rude students who had just entered.
Immediately she looked up her eyes met with Rachel who was staring at her, immediately she froze, information started pouring into her head as she couldn't understand what was happening.
Some minutes later she smiled and said "follow me."
Immediately, the three followed her out of the office, "what the hell did you do to her." Jason asked Rachel as they followed the principal.
"I just overwrote her memory and added some details that involve us," Rachel replied.
Damien and Jason just nodded and didn't say anything, they knew how hard the spell was, even a little mistake could spoil everything, but Rachel was quite powerful and they knew it.
Soon they got to a door, the principal went in and they followed her inside.
"Mr. Oliver, could you please excuse me for a minute," the principal said to the teacher.
Mr. Oliver who happened to be in the class at that moment saw the door open, he thought it was some students who had come late and was ready to scold them, but on seeing it was the principal he smiled.
"There's no problem," he said making way for the principal.
"Allow me to introduce your new classmates to you, they would be studying with you, I hope you treat them nicely," the principal said to the students.
"Thank you for your time Mr. Oliver," the principal said to the teacher before going out."
"Please, go have your seat," the teacher said to the three after the principal had gone out, he couldn't care to ask for their names.
The three nodded as they made their way towards three empty seats by Emily and Anne.
Emily who felt the class was boring and was dozing off suddenly opened her eyes, she felt a sense of dread sweep over her, she looked around for where the feeling was coming from but found nothing.
Then, the door to their class opened and the principal entered, following closely behind her were three new students, immediately she saw them, Emily felt a feeling she couldn't explain, it was a feeling she never felt before, she felt as if she knew them somewhere but couldn't remember.
After the principal introduced them to the class and went out Mr. Oliver asked them to go take a seat and they came towards where she and Anne were sitting, as they approached the empty seat beside them, Emily felt the feeling of familiarity become stronger, Emily couldn't help but to continue to think where she had known them, she continued to watch until they sat by her side, she started racking her brain to see if she could remember, but to no avail, she had no memories of them.
Emily's head started to hurt the more she thought about it, she had no choice discard the thought and focus on what the teacher was saying.
Not long, Emily dozed off again, she didn't know why, but she felt a strong urge to sleep.
Emily opened her eyes after feeling as if she had slept for a long time, but to her surprise, she wasn't in the class anymore, she was at that same place again.
"How did I get here," Emily muttered to herself looking around.
This was the second time she was here. The first was at the party and now in the class. "Welcome!," A voice boomed, scaring the hell out of Emily as she looked around the place. Just like before, it was just the blood red moon hanging low, and the trees, then birds chirping happily seemingly not to have noticed her presence. Emily looked around, surveying her surroundings. She was unsure if she should take the first step, after all, she didn't know how dangerous this place was but she had to find out where she was. Gritting her teeth, Emily slowly took a step. She was afraid she would be stuck in a spot just like the first time. Even though the strange voice she heard scared the daylight out of her, she could sense there was no malice in the voice and thus was confident that nothing would happen to her. Stabilizing her trembling body and breathing, Emily inhaled heavily as she took the next step. Soon Emily was moving slowly amongst the trees, walking slowly and making sure she
(A MONTH LATER)It had been a month since Rachel and the two boys entered Emily's school and became friends with Emily and her friends.Even though Rachel didn't stop her search for the hell wolf, she was unable to find the destined person. All she knew was she was near the hell wolf, but she knew not who the host was and why the person was able to hide so perfectly. Also during a month, they had gotten close significantly Emily and her friends would hang out sometimes together. The Harbingers whom the Demon Wolf had sent to the human realm were also unable to find the hell wolf. They had tried all sorts of methods but they weren't able to get the host to leave them in despair. They couldn't disappoint their lord as the time limit was getting closer and closer.A strong wind blew in the woods swaying all the trees. The night was silent and there was no moon in the sky.Even the stars hid behind the clouds as if something would happen if they stayed any longer. The night was chilly and
"I don't think it's a good idea," Rachel sighed as she looked at the four who were staring at her."I agree, it's pretty dangerous for you guys to head there," Damien chipped in."Why do you think it's a bad idea?" Emily frowned as she stared at Rachel. She felt something was off but couldn't pinpoint what it was. Even though it was only her instinct she still felt that the three were hiding something from them.Perhaps they knew something about the Killings.Rachel sighed in defeat when she saw Emily's gaze. Amongst the four gazes, it was only Emily's gaze that made her feel uncomfortable. It was as if she was unable to hide anything in front of Emily. Even though it was only an intuition Rachel dared not to be careless.Rachel shrugged her shoulders as she decided not to say anything because she knew she would be unable to convince them not to go."I get it now," James said suddenly as he clapped his hands while glancing at Rachel and the others."You guys are unwilling to go as you
It was all their imagination, no one was there to pounce on them. The preparator of the incident had left a long time ago.Getting to the body, the four observed the skinny bodies on the floor while shivering slightly.Their hearts trembled, they had never witnessed something like this."What do you think we should do?" Emily sighed, breaking the silence, she was the first to recover. The three were drawn back to reality when they heard Emily's words. They knew they couldn't leave the bodies out in the wild, nor could they call the police, they would be implicated."I think we should go back first." James sighed.Anne and Natasha nodded in agreement and the four headed back to Emily's house.*****That night after sending her friends off, Emily was unable to sleep. Her mind kept reflecting on what she had seen. She tossed and turned trying her best to forget what she saw and heard but it was somewhat impossible. She could still hear the screams piercing into her ears. The screams were
In no time Rachel's group arrived at a and stared into the distance. Not far from them was a purple vortex that was swirling and getting bigger with each second."This energy seems so familiar yet, it's strange." Rachel muttered observing the vortex. She had a premonition that something was about to happen.Soon the vortex stopped expanding and started to open up slowly."A portal!" Rachel gasped in shock. She knew where the portal was coming from as no one, but that woman was able to open a portal without receiving the approval of the demon lord.Damian and Jason's expressions were no better as they understood what was going on."What could they be planning?" Rachel muttered, looking at the portal with interest. She knew whatever the demon lord was planning to send was going to be more destructive than the harbingers, after all, he couldn't come to the human realm to solve such a small issue.Soon enough, strange creatures with two heads and arms started to emerge from the vortex. At
Turning around slowly, they were met with Emily's questioning gaze. They knew she wanted to know everything but they couldn't tell her anything at this moment. They couldn't breathe a word about it or else all their years of protection would be in vain.Even though they knew she was still going to find out about her identity, they didn't mind keeping it away from her."Baby, it's alright we're not keeping anything from you." Mrs. Clark smiled while caressing Emily's hair."Now be a good girl and go to sleep."At that moment her eye color changed and Emily couldn't resist the enchanting color and soon dozed off."Didn't you just go overboard?" Mr. Clark frowned looking at his wife."No, I didn't go overboard." Mrs. Clark smiled as they walked out of Emily's room."I think we should go ahead and eliminate them." Mr. Clark sighed."No, it's not right..." Mrs. Clark paused as she glanced at the sky through the open window. "Don't forget our vow, if we are to break it now, we'll be poking
(TWO DAYS LATER)"Wake up sis, we are going to be late for school!" A voice yelled into Emily's ear."Mmm!"Emily mumbled as she turned around on the bed."Sis!!!" The voice yelled again and this time Emily was forced to open her eyes."Get the hell out of my room, Harry!!" Emily yelled immediately after she opened her eyes."Fine!" Harry mumbled walking out of the room. Emily rolled her eyes at Harry who was walking out of her room reluctantly. She wasn't in the mood for his dramas and thus chased him out.The weekend had gone so fast and today was the beginning of a new week."I hate Mondays!!" Emily muttered under her breath as she stood up from her bed heading to the bathroom. The weekend was quite eventful for her, ever since she had slept that night all her troubles had disappeared and the next morning she felt refreshed. She couldn't remember how she had slept as all she could remember was her mum asking her to go to sleepBy the time she woke up, she could no longer hear the s
In no time, Emily disappeared. The students on the basketball pitch watched in horror not knowing what to do.Emily on the other hand continued to run towards the classroom when she heard the call for help. She could tell the voice belonged to Harry, so there was no way she wasn't going to save him.She could still hear the loud crashing sounds from within the school as it seemed like something was fighting the creatures. She could also hear the growls of the creatures but she could care less about them.Even though she had many questions at the moment as she thought about her dream, there was no one to answer them even if she asked."Help!!!"The voice came again. This time Emily was sure the voice belonged to Harry and thus descended into a frenzy once again. From the way Harry's voice sounded panicked, she was sure he was in danger so she could care less about anything."Growl!!"Emily heard a loud snarl behind her and in no time two of the creatures appeared walking towards her.E
