The young married woman waited in the church for over half an hour. The small place of worship seemed empty, abandoned even. The ajar door showed people passing by, none of which even glanced inside. "Why would they, with so much splendor all around them," Tiffany thought.

She heard her children chattering and Sam calming them down. "Okay, kids settle down and eat your ice cream," he said and popped his head through the door. Tiff collected her bag and walked over.

"Could you hurry it up, please? The children want to go sailing," he whispered.

She nodded and got out. Next to the church was a gift shop with a young clerk. "Excuse me, can you tell me when the priest of this church comes in? A short guy, mousy looking," she said slowly hoping the girl understood her.

The clerk blinked, confused and said in nearly perfect English, "That sounds nothing like him. The priest, here, is old and fat."

The woman held in her breath. "Alright, have you ever seen a man that fits the description?"
