Cassandra took long deep breaths. Her blood-soaked hand was firmly holding the metal ring in the middle. Cassandra stood up. With a heavy sigh she walked out, led by her escort to the most coveted place in the entire arena – a shower. As she walked inside, completely naked and covered in accumulated amounts of sweat and dirt. With a skull bowl and a cloth in hand, she raised her head to the sweet feeling of dripping water, feeling alive again.Outside, Jane, Ninja and Sara were waiting while making snarky remarks. "I honestly have no idea why she is so strong. I mean, look at her. The small plentiful tables were filled with an abnormal amount of alcohol and meat she was too afraid to question the origin of. There was also an entire table dedicated to earthly illegal substances in all forms and sizes.Most of the high ranking demons disturbed with their appearance. Their skin was a purplish shade of black with an eerie feel to it, as if touching a freshly shaven cactus. Most of them had goats legs, anemic figures and horns. However, from what the bride noticed, they could shape-shift if they wanted to. Their faces were sharp and long intentionally kept in a grin to maximize their repulsiveness to the human eye. Once the formalities were over, it was time for the actual ceremony to start. Unlike on earth, this one was more intimate.Basil opened the door of his private quarters. It was an 8-room apartment with two bedrooms, a large bathroom with a hot tub and most importantly – doors that she could unlock at any time.Obtaining tradition, Basil lifted his bride over the porch and took her in. She looked around, seeing all of their wedding gifts stacked chaotically in the middle of the living room. The party was over, but the night was not. A guest waited in the main bedroom. A door opened as a man in a light blue suit and bow tie laughed. His curly hair was slicked back with thick glass frames matching it in color. Next to him is a beautiful woman dressed in a white dress with puffed up sleeves and even puffier skirts. The veil barely covered her 80s highlighted perm. Not being able to pick her up completely, the groom nearly lifted her and placed her down into the hallway. Still in a good mood, the bride hoped over to the couch. "That was so much fun!" she told her husband with a wide smile."I know. Shouts and laughter were coming from a few floors above."What in Helltown was that?" "Mommy, mommy," a boy no older than 6 cried. He had short black hair and a cute outfit with a bow tie and short pants. His friends ran around the sun-lit garden, as their parents chatted enjoying the food. A woman with stylized highlighted hair came running and knelt beside him. "What's wrong dear?" she asked sweetly. The boy, named Johnny, wept pointing to the ground. "My balloon popped," he said rubbing his eyes. His mother looked around. "There are lots of other balloons. Pick whichever." The boy kept crying. "But I liked that one." His mother puffed, leaning in. "Look I did not want to tell you this but… The clown will be here soon." "Really?" the boy said, with his eyes sparkling. "Yes, the young woman nodded. "And I asked him to pack extra long balloons just for you. Cassandra tilted her head, confused. Teo graciously nudged his head to the side. A man was sitting on the far end of the park. He had completely red skin, mostly names except a skin cloth over her private part. He also had goat legs, with white small horns coming out of his head. At first, she thought he was a demon but then he started sobbing, which was something demons would never do. Cassandra blinked. She was so deep in thought, she stopped paying attention to him."Watching misery like that really cheers up, don't you think? Especially when humans are so easily triggered by all the delights they took for granted back on Earth," he said soothingly."Actually, I only came here to clear my head," she added, antsy."Sure, sure.
