"Oh my God, you freaking cop!" Howard stuttered, aware that he had just led the man before him to the conclusive part of his investigation.

The detective chose to smile again, directing the stack of photographs into a little bag that he had with him.

"Did you just trick me into giving you information? You damned agent of the uniform!"

"Mr Howard", he said. "As much as I would love to appreciate you for letting the cat out of the bag, I still have to observe that you sound a bit suspicious and unwilling. Why sir? Is it that you do not want this man here to get justice for his killer or were you also a part of this murder?"

The reply began with glooming red eyes of anger, followed by a dark version of the thickened voice. "You do not call me a murderer! You do not try to make me a criminal!"

"Well, that is what I thought", the detective said, drawing out the cold dead body from its chilly abode. "And if that is the case, I am sure you will have no problem telling more about this Hermes"
