At the office, Scarlett is back from the tour, is given twenty minutes period to rest before the 3 PM everyone would be dismissing from work. She had called her mom, so is looking for someone else to call. Gerald comes to mind. Her real name is Geraldine, but her short form goes for Gerald which is regularly used by Scarlett who wouldn't want to pronounce a long name whenever she is talking to her.

Gerald is her best friend of recent whom she met at a store and since then have been communicating with each other. They had a good rapport right from the start, she has been helping her financially in her difficulties, the bond between each other has grown to a point that it can't just be severed.
