"For your debut, we need to have your relatives in attendance. We haven't met them for a long time now, it's been many years now." Carlos suggests to Eric.

"You know you have a lot of relatives, so which ones are we going to invite?" He asks, knowing fully well that they had enemies even in their family when he was younger. He believes that those people wouldn't change and he can't invite such people to his debut.

"You will invite your mother, the woman that took care of you, you can't forsake her even if she left your father." Eric thinks for a while, placing his index finger on his lips, he remembers all those times he spent with her and how those days were sweet.

He spent the first three years of his life mainly with her until he was dropped with his grandfather whom he lived with till he grew older. Carlos proved a good father with him and took care of him, he was however surprised when he threw him out.
