Chapter 4

Eric's frowned after hearing his grandfather's name. Like the man must be joking or a mad person.

"Are you kidding me?" Eric raised his eyebrows. 

The bodyguard shook his head in disagreement.

"You have a grandfather, who has been silent since you were born." The bodyguard revelation shocked him.

It can't be true just few minutes ago he was an orphan and now he is having grandfather.

"Did he know beforehand that where I was"?

"Yes, young master," the bodyguard nodded his head.

Eric blood boils in anger, his grandfather also deveived him as his wife did to him.

"I don't want to meet that old man, who let me die in the streets since I was born." Eric shot back angrily. He tried to start the taxi, but cut off in between.

"He has called you to give your mother's pendant," the other man replied slowly.

Eric's heart twitched, recalling his mother's name and her memories.

Eric went to his grandfather's mansion, "Storm House". The mansion was decorated with expensive antiques.

He envied him for leaving him alone in the streets to starve after his parents died.

"Finally you are here, my grandson," an old man said, coming on a wheelchair. 

Eric turned his gaze towards him and felt sympathy for how the man once used to be strong is now a weak man.

"Don't call me your grandson. As much as I remember you have always considered me as an illegitimate child," Eric snapped angrily at him.

The old man flinched at Eric's voice and hung his head low with guilt.

"You are right. I deserve the punishment from you. But I did teach you a life lesson. I don't want you to be like your mother," he said slowly. 

His voice was filled with agony and continued again.

"She didn't know the value of money and chose the wrong person in her life. I want you to learn the value of money. I apologize to you, my grandson," he sobbed.

He folded his hands and apologies to Eric.

Eric was shocked to hear his justification and didn't know what to answer him. Though he felt sympathy for his grandfather, he couldn't forgive him easily.

"Do you know how many nights I have slept without food on the streets? Once I came to ask you for help but you threw me out of the mansion. I won't forgive you," Eric's chest tightens when he recalls his miserable life before meeting Scarlett who didn't improve his life as much as he expected but made it a living hell.

 He's glad he has a son from her. At least he has achieved something. 

"My son, you must have starved but it was a life lesson for you. I will be dying soon and I want to hand your mother a precious pendant to you with all the properties I have," Grandfather tried to explain his situation. He wants his grandson back as an heir of the Storm family.

Eric raked his fingers in his hair. It's true that I learnt the value of money and hard work.

"Please, my son. Take over the company and stay with me in this castle. It's my last wish before death," his grandfather pleaded. 

Eric could see the regret in his grandfather's eyes. So, he agreed with his grandfather and forgave him.

"Okay grandpa. I will think about it. But first I need to tell my family everything," Eric gave an assured smile to him.

His grandfather took a long breath in relief. Like a heavy weight has been lifted from his heart. Now, he can die with peace.

"Okay my son. My accountant will send you some money into your bank account if you require any help, please don't say no for it" Grandpa signaled one of his men to do it.

Eric didn't want to argue with his grandfather anymore. So he nodded his head, agreeing with him.

"Sir, I am happy that you finally have your grandson back. So, when we are helding the party for the country," The manager said to Granny. 

As he felt proud that Storm Heir is back. And he will rule the country as a true ruler.

He has many companies and millions worth profit share. From famous politician to the famous military General for everyone, Granny is the Boss.

Eric returns home so glad for what he has become, his grandad had taken him back and he is a billionaire. Though he asked him to come live with him, he wouldn't actually for the main time, he just accepted to make him relax his mind.

 He would keep it a secret from his wife,and surprise her.
