Michael stepped into the room his father was being treated in. He saw Kayla joking with her father, but their attention was diverted after Michael entered.

"Dad came home from work early today, did you bring Kayla chocolate?" asked the little boy with his eyes sparkling with hope.

Kayla walked over to Michael and then held his father's hand. Michael took out a bar of his daughter's favorite chocolate.

"Dad, just bring one bar of chocolate. You can't get hurt by eating too much chocolate because it's not good for your teeth," said Michael, explaining to his daughter.

"Kayla knows," said the little boy. "Thank you dad." After speaking, Kayla kissed the back of one of Michael's hands as a sign of thanks.

After receiving the chocolate that Michael gave, Kayla walked over to the sofa and enjoyed a bar of her favorite chocolate. Kayla is allowed to eat chocolate once a month and once a week she can eat ice cream with low sugar content. Michael and Alea are very selective about the food thei
