Michael had just returned from buying dinner for himself and Alea. Michael now looked at Alea who had just finished talking to the hospital doctor who had been tasked with monitoring his daughter's progress.

Michael stepped quickly towards where his wife was, when he was less than two meters away, Michael could hear Alea's cries which sounded so heartbreaking. His wife sat on a stainless steel chair while holding both hands to cover her face.

"Alea, what's wrong?" Michael asked after sitting next to his wife.

Alea looked at Michael, hugged him and cried even more. Michael rubbed his wife's back to calm the woman he loved. After a few moments, Alea's cries finally began to subside and only the sound of sobbing came out of her mouth.

Michael let go of Alea's embrace, alternately wiping the clear water that wet his wife's cheeks.

"Alea, can you explain to me the reason you are crying like this," said Michael in a soft voice and calm eyes.
